Yes that also explain why he kept the ring too.. because he thought the man was alive and probably he would meet him someday and then he could return it..It wouldn't have been a problem to get Raghav's address from the hospital.. Makes sense why he went to meet the doctor since she was the one who called him and said he had recovered and was discharged.. That lady obviously knows what happened that night ..not sure if they will pursue the matter with with her...I know at this point its not important for Raghav so he let it go but we will get to know more about her role when Mandhar actually returns.. He was in a major accident and critically injured..Its impossible for him to flee on his own...Again, the all important call he received that night is an important piece of the puzzle.. You think Ayi knows about Mandhar being alive ?? I don't know..seems too preposterous to me..Mandhar's equation with Vijay was not ideal..granted but if that was the reason for him to leave then he could've done it long back and why remain underground like this? Not like Vijay is some don who could've hunted him down and dragged him back home? Why marry a girl and leave her on their wedding night? why be so unfair to the girl and punish her like this, if the reason for him to run away from home was his father?? I don't know... Im not too convinced about this theory..

I feel when Mandar got consciousness he might have requested the doctor to say he is doing well and the doctor might have agreed to it. He could have said something like - Oh that man saved me so better to keep him out of misery and what not. The point is did Mandar want to come back to D family ? What if he took this accident as a probable route to escape the family and start afresh. He might not have even wanted to marry Pallavi for all we know. If he did take this route to escape D family then

- it makes him coward for choosing to put his family at misery to life his own life

- it makes his relationship with Vijay toxic enough that he felt he was doing no wrong by making them believe he is no more.

Pallavi might have been the collateral damage in the scheme of Mandar - Let me flee my mad cap family.

But the doctor said that Mandhar had recovered and that his family ''took'' him home.. he was already doing well when Raghav left the hospital..What if some other people who pretended to be his family, took him somewhere? I have a gut feeling that the call he received that night has got something to do with his disappearance. I can understand that he was a coward but ruining a girls life for the sake of ''escaping'' from his family doesn't seem like a valid reason to me..

He said na that he got the car from Keerti's friend. It wouldn't have been too tough for him given that he has people following Amma and Keerti all the time. He might have asked his men to see who the friend was whose car Keerti was driving.
