I can see the writers are trying to do vague parallels with the hurtful things Adi also said to Imlie when he didn’t want to accept her.

Like yesterday they again raised the point about how a naukrani takes money for her work but Imlie never took a cent from the Ts for anything so how does that make her a maid? When Aparna angrily offered to pay Imlie for all the work she did in their house, Adi reminded her ki Imlie ke pyar ki keemat kaise lagaayengi aap. This was quite reminiscent of one of my fav scenes…..the second PD trip when Adi is dropping Imlie off at the bus stop and hands money to her for all the time she spent working in his house. Trying to coat it under the guise of saying this is money to support her studies and she’s earnt it. Apna guilt kam karne ke liye charity kar raha tha. But the way Imlie cut him down to size by doing hisaab kitaab of his charity. 👏😆…..that is what made it a great scene.

Aaj Adi’s family is doing an uglier version of what he once did and he’s playing the part Imlie did in chiding them for putting a price on Imlie’s love. But despite the parallels, Aparna at the end of the day is not Adi….he wanted to push Imlie away but never over a naukrani label or class consciousness….he did it out of cowardice and selfishness. That is why those scenes still had interesting layers even if they caused hurt to Imlie. But now 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

the way one can see how visually disturbs she gets too at the thought it ain't by choice but majboori as she can't think of any other way out right now and is at rock bottom with nonstop dragging

This was a sweet moment indeed when she looked down after he asked whether she feels like leaving him. ❤️That gesture/transition was done on-point. When he requested to not leave & saying that they won't run away from the situation in order to appease them. Nor does he want want to go against his parents nor does he want to desert Imlie. If the Ts cannot fathom the scenario, then justice is imperative.

This was indeed a sweet moment. See the thing that was showcased today is that Adi-Imlie are not doing things deliberately to make the elders give approval. They are only reacting when the Ts make the move. If they would not have tried to throw Imlie out if the house, Adi wouldn't have tried to leave the house with Imlie. Similarly they will continue to do things in order to make Imlie leave & Adi's reaction to them will keep on escalating. Hence, the precap move Imlie to Adi's room attempt. Because looks like once again they tried to trouble Imlie in some way & that led Adi to make the decision to move Imlie to his room.

I loved how Adi-Imlie were so casually discussing why the family has called Didi to the house while setting her belongings. They cannot even bother to find out themselves inspite of being curious. So the T fam, Didi & Loservedis can do all the planning & plotting they want to do to separate Adi-Imlie but Adi-Imlie will always prioritise each other over anyone else.

Gehri dost ke liye token chinta dikha raha hai abhi bhi. Aap log kuch zyada hi soch rahe ho kal se that he’s only irritated with her and can see through her nautankis 😆

As for Imlie being his priority. Woh toh pehle se hi established hai. Lol mujhe kuch naya nahin laga usmein 🤷‍♀️

My hope for the loving & caring facade of T family being true has died a brutal death today. I had hope that the way they reacted was short term because of the way the truth got revealed to them & they felt betrayed by their children. I can never buy their facade of being a warm, loving family again just like I can never buy Didi's niceness ever again. In their insistence for propping Didi, the entire elder T family brigade is butchered beyond recognition today.

My blood was literally boiling looking at the crass way they were behaving with Imlie. Their double standards for Imlie & Didi were so in your face that no one can ignore them & give them any sort of benefit of doubt.

Didi can do an EMA but she will be still welcomed as the bahu. Didi's father cheated on her mom & gave dhoka to Imlie's Amma but still Imlie can never match Didi's high born status because she is the legitimate child of DC while Imlie is his najayaz aulaad. Also DC gets a free pass for cheating because he is from high class while the woman he cheated, the victim Meethi becomes the culprit who fasaoed him. Also Imlie is the same now that she is trapping their own son.

No matter that the son is married to Imlie before he was married to Didi. They do not want to accept the truth so their marriage becomes illegal. While the actual illegal marriage with Didi is valid. Imlie is the low class girl who went after their married son & has bhatkaoed him & they need their high class bahu to bring him to the right path. So what if she is Imlie's half sister, so what if she has had EMA with some random guy. Didi is Devi & can do no wrong & should do the kripa on her bhakts to come back & apnao their son who has made mistakes against her.

God I can only nikalo 🤬gaalis from my mouth for them today. It is truly a sad day that these loved characters will never be the same for me anymore because their is nothing worth savouring them for anymore. Everything that we loved about them has just turned out to be a facade & now when I even watch older episodes I will always be looking for their double standards & fakeness. I have simply given up on them today.

I have mentioned it in some other post that since Didi has not yet left the house, there is chance for Adi-Imlie to meet Didi😆.

I agree that Adi did show pareshani regarding his family calling Didi. He must have remembered the last time how she shouted on both of them when his family called her when he was ill. She had made a big issue out of her life getting complicated. So he was worried because of the same I guess. He must be embarrassed that his family is still involving Didi in their family matters😆.

Adi-Imlie will conveniently never see through Didi's nautankis because phir they would stop their BFF & Didi Jaap. Then it will become difficult for the writers to still integrate her in their story line. So we will have to live with their obliviousness wrt Didi ke intentions😆.
