It’s awful when a track is so well built up and you feel so much for a character only for the big moment & its aftermath to fall flat. Dev-Raavi scenes are deliberately being put to bring out the charge of unease that brews in Shiva’s mind! With Dev, Raavi has a sense of smile which she never has with Shiva. Hasn't their dynamics always been the same? Both of them doubting each other's intentions. Despite driving her to the edge, Dev earns her softness while Shiva still lurks around, frequently misunderstood and unwanted by Raavi!

It makes me believe that Shiva’s complex relationship with Raavi has always been about her not wanting him around too.

It was mutual! She didn't want him; he detested her more!

Main Jhalla nahi, Tu Jhalli

It's like going back to their childhood, except that Shiva is yearning for her madly!
