Piu, wonderful post! I agree they are deliberately being put out there to make it uneasy for Shiva. Raavi for the longest time did not want to be around Shiva, still encountered even more than Dev, every single time she stepped into Pandya Niwas .
I am sure both didn’t mind not being around each other for the longest time, but Shiva’s feelings have changed now and he is finding it all the more difficult to see and accept what’s happening in front of him😕

I think more than their hatred, anger against each other, Shiva is legit affected since childhood by not only his physical but emotional rejection too!

Raavi loved him like a family, but she rejected him emotionally and physically most of the time! It did hurt; her satire. It did anger her degrading him.

We see him lashing out at her on such occasions. It and er happened with Miami or anyone else. But it always happens with Raavi!

I had said earlier too! He can fight anger and hatred, but who’d want to fight with blatant disgust!

I feel sad for both of them!

Thank you 🤗I completely agree! I would have loved to see some more of their interactions as children! Or even teenagers! I think both of them unknowingly have done a number on each other. Raavi loved him like family but somewhere she gave off the vibe that her love comes from her desire to be like Dhara and her need to win Dev’s approval. Her being nice to him in front of the family was never about him (atleast looking at it from Shiva’s POV). When the two were alone, I’m sure she rejected him many times and said things that left a much deeper impact than intended. Likewise, he never gave her any reason to break the barrier of hatred and be kind. It’s sad how decisions and actions we take when we are younger leave such a lasting impact.

Even Raavi’s friend’s words are no different from hers. “Jungle Man” reminded me of “Machar Main” and of course kirane ki dukaan was used before. The friend was obnoxious but I’m guessing this isn’t the first time they have spoken about Shiva like this. I wonder if Shiva ever overheard them in the past... I started writing a piece a long time back that I abandoned. It’s about teenage Shiva overhearing Raavi mocking him in front of her friends. It became a little too much for me to keep writing. But they literally have a gold mine to explore here. So much has led to them standing where they are now.

I really really hope the team does justice to this track 😒💔
