I feel like the reason he took her hand so protectively like that was because subconsciously he had already recognized it's Bondita. He seemed so shocked with himself too after.

There were certain instances where it felt like Ani got suspicious of Vyjayanti:

1. When she started saying "aap mere.. aur main apki" and he removed his glasses
2. When he helps her escape the stares of those men and pulls her along by holding her hand in his, the moment he realizes he did so, he seemed slightly shaken.
3. When he helps her climb into the carriage, he stares at their hands for a moment in confusion.
4. I guess the remaining moments is when Bon loses her focus while flirting with him and shows her true feelings 😆

Yaar.. Agar Ani ko itna sab kuch dekhe baadme samjh na aye ke Bon likes him toh isko duniya ka sabse bada Budhhu ghoshit karna padega.

Yes I noticed many of these things when I re-watched the episode too. I feel like they're trying to show that he has a connection with VJ because it's Bondita only But she will definitely remind him of Bon. I'm hoping we will see some of these memories in tomorrow's episode.
