There were certain instances where it felt like Ani got suspicious of Vyjayanti:

Yes... that scene really moved me more than the others. It made me think how he would have reacted had he been at court the day Bon was getting insulted for being his ex wife.

He would protect any woman, I'm sure but like you said.. his protectiveness towards Bon is on another level of special which is so endearing.
