Manasi, you should watch Vir-Sakshi convo in Wed epi. Watching that section clarifies 2 things -

- Vir is a very good husband and will remain one till the end, no matter what kind of wife he has. Period. In a rage of anger, he might max yell at her, show some disgust, but nothing more than that.

The treatment he had metted out to Purvi- the abuses he had hurled during her birthday, and the umpteen times she was dragged to panchayat will not be done for his wife Sakshi. That is the price Purvi will have to pay for not being able to become his wife!

- Even though Purvi lied to him after swearing, etc, he knows clearly that whatever Purvi is doing is under Sakshi's presssure. He is very much aware that Sakshi's intentions are malicious, but does not take drastic measures to correct it on purpose, just hoping she will realize her mistake on her own.

Just like Shree, you & I were discussing previously, then what was his long term plan for Purvi? None.

Sakshi's monologue after Vir expressing his disgust towards her - for a split second she thinks that Purpul marriage is going to break her own marriiage and she will lose Vir. At that moment, I was wondering if she would now flip and request purpul to not get married! :) But she corrects herself and thinks that she should not become weak and give up, but continue with her determination of getting Purpul married off. She continues to hope that the rift between her & Vir will lessen after Purpul marriage.

Why is Sakshi so convinced that Vir will come to her sooner or later? It is because of Vir's words. He says that he will give her the respect as his wife, will never deprive her of that right. He also goes on to say that he loves Purvi deeply, but time will heal the heartbreak he has from being away from Purvi, which may even take the entire lifetime. This is what assures her that she can get him back after Purvi is out of sight, esp when married to someone else and has a family of her own. To get what she wants, Sakshi stoops to the lowest level, she is viciously manipulative to everyone. While doing so, she is oblivious that she can never get back her old life.

Superb analysis Smitha!👍🏼

@bold- SIGHHHHH! This has been the main reason for this mess. All thru this mess, Vir has continually assured Sakshi that NOTHING can change the fact that she will always remain his wife. He may not love her, but she will still remain his wife! Like you said, this mixed signaling is what has has given false hopes to Sakshi & led her to beleive that by sending Purvi away she will get her life back!

Sheesh!!! God save (some of) us from this rigmarole

------

Today's epi might change all of this theory and analysis, let's see whats in store today.

You have put everything so well, Smitha, I don't have too much to add.

I have mentioned this before - both VPS and Purvi have enabled KK's psychotic behaviour and misplaced beliefs.

KK's level of disregard for others is rather chilling. Her kinds - plastering a smile on their faces, having a calm demeanour most of the time, convincing everyone condescendingly they are doing things for the greater good - is a scary combination of narcissism and evil.

Guys sorry to but in on your conversation I only recently caught up on episodes and again I didn't watch the full episodes so can't really say much on the situation but a few dialogues stood out for me.

After the PurVir last hug request after S suicide attempt the conversation between Vir and S was key to what follows. I believe he says lines like Purvi had taken your place in my heart, don't worry S it's not your fault it's our kismet, I will learn to move on and be happy, etc. If Vir is saying this to S and reassuring her she is bound to believe that just how Purvi took my place I can take her place. She then goes to crazy lengths to get rid of Purvi.

I don't think any character is to blame. But clearly S is not a nice person. We can't say she's evil or a villain but she's not a good person.

Agree with you Nahima! Vir's reassurance added to Sakshi already delusional mind!

I also agree that Sakshi is not evil - selfish, manipulative, delusional - far from nice, but evil may be too strong a word!
