@bold: Jan-e-Alam is a full on villain, not anti-hero. I cannot believe how convincingly Danish plays all these roles, he's such a fabulous actor! You can watch Shert though, its a mature story and Danish's character isn't the villain. Madhubala had an interesting concept but the script turned out to be horrible. The way RK nearly got Mallik killed, then got married to her and took her to a bed full of red chillies, I was literally like wtf is wrong with these guys?! Then the chaar pheras, pouring alcohol in the holy pyre...the makers are lucky they got away with it. I found it damn offensive and disturbing. Not to mention the marital rape that Madhu and RK's daughter had to go through. I had stopped watching the show but when I came to know about the storylines I found it very sickening.

Deewangi had amazing potential after the revenge plot, but looks like the writers did not know what to do for the remaining episodes. Plus it started getting huge numbers in TRPs so they dragged it out.

@bold: Although I am a Vivian fan, I need to agree with you on that 😳😆 Danish has a very special spot in my heart now 😆 Have you heard him sing though?

As for madhubala..what's offensive and what's not is subjective ....madhu hurt his ego badly and caused his public humiliation , he half married her and forced her to live with him, do pyar ka natak and dump her. But their story revolved around each other...they came bk together..and lived a happy married life with some problems here and there...marital rape happened in s2 (afree they killed rk madhu..only actors were same. Characters were different ) everybody had quit by then...initially when they were at eCh others throats , it was a pure revenge story.. ..Sultan also took revenge from nageen for his Public humiliation but left her alone after that , so she settled down away from him. Then again come bk in her life and try to ruin her marriage...

So I don't find mb offensive bec madhu loved him through and through and he also loved her equally..so whether they slap or manhandle each other or torture each other becomes irrelevant..she loved him inspite of what he did to her..her life her choice.. ...sultan was forcing himself on nageen from the start...consent really matters for me...kisi tarah ki zabardasti Is what I find offensive.....We r defending these characters with something or the other..yaar kyun banate hain one sided love stories? Kam3 is the same ..itna delusion phir itna pagalpan. Then we start blaming the heroine for not falling in love with the hero 😔

In ishquia , humna was in love with humza , she married another boy without informing him so he went all psycho...he was taking revenge from her , not trying to win her back. So I find it less offensive than others.....what about ishq hai? Did isra choose another boy over shahzeb and he is still trying to win bk a married girl? That's not right no?

RK did a criminal offense which was drink and drive, then he made up his mind to take revenge. Sultan met Nageen on a bus, immediately fell for her and tried to pursue her. Madhubala stood up for what was right whereas Nageen behaved irrationally to a polite stranger.

Maybe coz I saw it on MX player recently and wanted more Bollywood stuff...half hoping they would show RK the superstar. Even Sultan gave up on Nageen after he married Narmeen. The only time he decided to reconnect was when he wanted to apologise for his behaviour...then he found out about Narmeen's betrayal and finally confessed to himself and the world that he still loved Nageen...then the rest we know.

Coming to RK and Madhu's second marriage, its not about what type of marriage one has, but about the sacred bond of marriage. This has actually put me off many TV shows, how marriage has been used as a plot twist and has become a joke.

I just felt RK had Madhu and did not appreciate her...whereas Sultan wanted Nageen in his life and never got her.

By the time they were showing RK and Madhu's daughter, the show was a far cry from what it originally was. It was about a couple in the entertainment industry, and became something completely bizare.

RK and Madhu, just like a lot of ITV couple were toxic. Can u imagine having a relationship like that in real life? Sultan and Nageen never really panned out but I felt he was trying to talk to her. Only when she insulted him instead of being civil (which she was from the water episode on the bus) did he get angry and do something stupid, like making her wear the ring. I could see he was not trying to touch her or be a sleazeball, but ripping his card and flinging it on his face...that was too much. And I've said this time and again, those two were never meant to be.

If u mean Manik from KYY I haven't watched the show, only clips. And he did not come across as super toxic. Altho I need to watch the entire show to be certain.

In Ishq Hai, Isra's family want her to marry Haaris (her mom's best friend's son) and she ends up taking Shahzaib's name in front of them so she gets locked up in her room. Around this time Shahzaib's mom finalises his wedding with Nimra his cousin, without his consent...basically there are two sisters, Nimra's younger sister is to marry Shazaib's brother.

Shahzaib is dead against it and tries to talk his mom out of it, she refuses. Finally when he is thinking what to do, Isra calls him and says "take me from here, my family has fixed my marriage and I'll die if I get married to that guy".

Shahzaib's nikkah and Isra's brother's walima is on the same day. Shahzaib not knowing what to do, takes Isra with him to his own wedding and tells his stubborn mother that this is the girl he wants to marry. His mom insults Isra and she leaves. At the walima location, Shahzaib gets insulted by Isra's family. She breaks up with him, claiming he cheated.

Imo she gave him commitment and then backed out, when he needed her support. Shahzaib is a balanced, centred guy surrounded by fools. He has zero support and understanding from anyone so you can already see why he looses his mind.

See I won't defend rk at all..he got away with a lot of crap due to his persona..n madhu was no less..she could have totally avoided it , had she not been too bullheaded and stubborn.. jaan ke she took panga with someone who could crush her like a mosquito. She indulged him and he did the same...not at all yaar , real life Mei aisi stories nai hoti. Ur right, he didn't appreciate her , but she loved him still...he was emotionally vulnerable always , had anger issues and ego issues..

Arre bhagwan Manik was not in their league door door tak...he was a super brat , a college bully n that too for the initial 25 epis....iske baad 400 epis bhi the which was their actual story..about friendship and love ..he projected himself to be a diff person bec of his toxic childhood.

With Sultan, there were 2 phases ..I also think if nageen was a little soft with him, he would be a good husband and a good lover..she poked him badly ..revenge was also ok...I have a problem with what happened after that.. nageen wanted to stay miles away from.him.and he just kept forcing himself on her. Na usne pehle consent ki parwah ki na baad mein. What Sultan wanted did matter , nageens wish was also imp no? Love can't be forced right?

I have watched both parts and have become quite emotional. So can only write an update tomorrow 😆 I have cried during multiple scenes so will calm myself down, get some rest and post my comments tomorrow!

Can isra’s sister in law just go away. I hate her so much. Her scenes r instant skip.

How rich families women get time for nonsensical thinking? Why don't they join to do something useful and get $ to spend for themselves? Eat someone else's income and spend brain for cheap tactics..soo kekta style.

2.5/3 part is skipping worthy in just the 5th episode.

Ishq hai new episodes have been watched😎..I feel so bad for Shahzeb😭 Danish has absolutely owned this character too..👏 Shahzeb is the voice of audience..ke what is his and Isra's fault in all this! Is falling in love a crime! 😳 God awful behaviour..and if Isra knew that her family does not like "LOVE MARRIAGE" which she did, why did she commit to Shahzeb at all!!!!😡🤓🤢 Upar se she is finding faults in him..dude he is ready to stand up against all idiotic odds for you and he has no support from anywhere ATM..when he told his mom, she was so horrible to him too..Isra just gave up too quickly and her family is the absolute worst! Also Isra's family is ready to pack her off to some random guy who literally looks like a creep, but not to someone she knows well enough! BLAAH.

This show is too toxic man, too much incorrigible and unjustified family drama and nautanki for my taste..but im in this for Shahzeb and him alone..I cant see him pleading everyone to support him😭 somewhere I feel they are trying to cash in on Deewangi's success by incorporating kidnapping track et al..

I liked the sweet chemistry between Minal and Danish in the first two episodes..but now I am so annoyed with Isra, that I really dont like watching Minal here lol..and I know she is going to torture us by torturing Shahzeb later arghhh 🤢🤣

PS - Best scene was between Shahzeb and lallu fiance of Isra..he was looking so pappu and lame in front of Shahzeb..I was literally 🤣
