I think Ishqi was more pissed that she had to save herself. Her knight in shining armour image got a crack that day.

I think the problem with her that she has accepted that she is alone in life and jo karna hai khud karna hai (Her dialogues in hospital after maasi was admitted). Even if she loves Ahaan, she is not expecting a lot from him, she is not making herself dependent on him, rely on him. She fears losing him and then hurting herself so she is protecting herself in that way. She has put a wall around her. So she is strong when she is alone, when she has to handle the difficult situations hersefl but with relationship, she is lost. She wants to be with Ahaan but can't make herself rely on him blindly.
