But this is the problem. At the beginning of the haveli track, there was an uproar about the show not being ShiVi centric enough. Now it’s too ShiVi centric.

I guess makers themselves are caught in this tug of war between ShiVi fans who just want more ShiVi vs PS fans who want a more balanced storyline(many of whom I have a feeling have seen OG versions in different languages)

I believe it's called My Father is Strange... though, don't quote me for the exact storyline as I watched a ton of K-dramas, T-dramas, Thai lakorns (anything with English subs, you name it) in that era of my life. The storylines all blended... but it's certainly about a family! With children having their own romances 😆

Ohh yes I have watched it- That show had some badass female characters- each and every female character was well written. I loved it ❤️

I share the same sentiments as you.

They had a huge surge of viewers enter the show post-leap with many people becoming attracted to ShiVi. Viewers who watched the OG version + regional versions (like me) also began tuning into the show to watch ShiVi, so I think the makers were at loss of creating a storyline that satisfies the ShiVi fans who want more and more scenes (I personally believe less is more, which is probably why I have been loving Suman as she enters and makes an impact with each scene) and fans who just want to see a good story.

I feel like this could be solved in other couples get more Twitter trends as well. I would love to see, #GauRa or #DevTa (or #RishiDev) trending on social media along with hashtags highlighting the need to end abuse of all forms whether it is manhandling or beating. I didn't follow Twitter after yesterday's episode, but does anyone know if there was a trend for #stopmakingsuicideajoke or something along the lines of that?

If only ITV can have such kickass characters....

I know a few weeks ago Piu made a post about alternate professions of the Pandya Family. Would love to see one of the girls (Rishita preferably) become a kickboxer or something equally cool.

Perhaps in the year 2098, we'll get storylines of ML and FL meeting at a kickboxing championship where FL is a boxer and ML is a manager. For some reason, I really like it whenever the FL is stronger, either mentally or physically than the ML... it's refreshing to watch 😆 Maybe that's why Rishu is growing on me.

Do you all watch any other show besides PS? Are the track/characters better there?

I don’t watch anything besides this show as its too much of a time commitment between watching and the forum. But when I open Hotstar few other shows are staring right on my face. Also don’t follow Zee or Sony so don’t even know what shows are on them.
One thing that is a big No No for me in a show is EMA and the justification given for it, I say get a divorce and move on, can’t digest such things.

Yeah I also like to see strong female characters. I have to say there are a couple of females with a strong character who’s husband support them through there journey on ITV. The kickbokser, the teacher who is married now in a household where women don’t work and he supports here and he even support her to get her Phd. I hope we get to see something like that on PS!! 😉
