In Anu I see a woman who truly loved a loser to the best of her ability. Gave up her life, her family. She even killed her pride to go back and ask her dad to help loser D. Only to be cheated by him.

It could not have been easy to put up years of coldness from Dev. Especially because he was the guy around whom her life revolved. Loser D toh hai hi coward. Did not tell her that he cheated. We all know Anu had a hunch that he might have cheated on her with a poor village girl. So she could have divorced him. But she gave into the society's expectations and led a miserable life. She was dependent on him and had a daughter with him.

Would she have been a classist or all things from village if not for Dev's kand? I dont think so. She fell in love with a poor artist herself. So Anu we see now and Anu in her youth must have been totally different. She became more cynical because of the hardships she faced. But we have to agree, most of the times she had the best insight into what's going on and tried to warn Malini too.

This does not excuse her behavior with Imlie & T-fam. She acts extra harsh with Imlie as she considers Imlie as a threat to Malini's happiness. And with T's because Aditya mistreated Malini and inspite of all the love they showered on M, they never stood a chance infront of A. A ko toh episode 1 mein hi she declared unfit for malini.

She knows she is bad and owns up to it😎

I think she is not inherently bad and can have a nice redemption if makers choose to give her one.

PS: This is why i feel Anu might not specifically misbehave with Mithi 😛 Because she might not consider her a threat. She can however show classist mentality.

Nishant was the instigator in chief. For him, though he enjoyed Imlie's personality, she was a maid. Whom he could easily throw under the bus or worse into C house if it meant saving his cousin's marriage. bold 1 - Sunlie has been always good.. imlie grew on him just like she did on everyone... and his respect increase after she topped the exam.. he is kind of real friend imlie made in delhi.. love them in one frame always :)
