I always like subtle wedding looks.

For me this Maroon look of Ishqi (as per pictures) isn't that great.

The velvety dupatta is OTT, the Lehnga is pretty much from early 2000s and no flairs at all.

Rhea's yesterday's getup looked like Jagrate ki Mata rani to me honestly bt that's just because of the Chataak red dupatta and very blingy jewellery.

But I liked her red banarasi Lehnga👍🏼 it was subtle and had proper flairs.

Going back to Ishqi's pink wedding look, the Lehnga wasn't actual bridal one but Ishqi was looking cute in the entire outfit and jewelery.

And Sonu's Maroon velvety Lehnga again gave me little early 2000s vibes but her jewelry, head gear made her look subtle and pretty.

My personal favourites are always subtle looks like Ishqi's last Mehndi , Rhea's pink dress on Ishqi's chooda ceremony etc.

@ bold : Dts exactly what I think abt the lehenga too. I absolutely dislike the whole velvety thing ......it looks outdated. Never liked it . As you said Sonu's was similar too. Makes me think probably the costumes director has a thing for velvet.

Now abt Rhea......as a whole she looked a stunning bride to me yesterday. But I didn't really pay attention to the jewellery and dupatta😆. I just liked the Lehenga she wore. Modern design wid flares and not overdone. Simple yet elegant types .

Abt the pink wedding look. Totally agree wid wht you said. Also I hv a thing for unusual colors for wedding. So pink kind of stood out for me. I think Karishma Kapoor wore pink in her wedding too.

@bold: me too I liked the simple yet elegant lehnga. Banarsi one, with good flair and never outdated.

But yes on TV the jewelry and dupatta looked little flashy to me.

And this is the pink look I was talking about, not exactly a bridal look but these kinda wedding guest looks I prefer.

Because Ishqi’s styling, haircut etc is generally contemporary rather than classic desi, and her personality is also frothy, I feel a light coloured or floral look suits her better than the traditional reds.

Also the pink joda was better coordinated with jewellery & needed lighter makeup which works well for her. I loved the pink joda from the ‘wedding that never happened’. I like her best in white, light blue & light pink.

Yes even i feel light colors suit her better than traditional reds. She looked lovely in all the outfits from Mayank wala wedding .

She looked very pretty in dt pink attire !!!
