I wrote a letter to you today

to tell you that I'm going away.

I hope you believed the words in there

I think my handwriting is pretty fair.

I got your letter and the world shook

it's a page right out of a horror book.

I thought I knew you inside out

now all I want to do is shout!

Then shout and scream and holler loud

if for a moment you believe that absurd crowd!

Read it again and join the dots

don't rush headlong and lose the plot.

As always your language is hard to understand

here I thought we'd be holding hands.

I'm here now with no clue what to do

didn't I tell you 'I love you?'

Love is not a fickle thing my friend

trust it and us till the very end.

You believed it I see but don't know how

guess I'll just have to say bye for now!
