Whoops. This was meant for Mahi. You'd quoted her post and I accidentally quoted yours.

What's with the strange obsession of Hindi TV shows with Punjabification of the cultural nuances. I love the Bhangras, Giddas and Tapes but showing these dancing chops amidst the rich backdrop of a Gujrati family Pagphera custom in the name of Garba is downright problematic!

The dancing looked unreal at it's best. Where are the Navratri catchy songs? Kamariya, Chogada, Dholida, Dholida Dhol are Waghaad! So many colourful pieces could be done.

I am sucker for cultural nuances and believe that in as we are progressing, some of these are getting lost! They could have made them wear some traditional Gujrati outfits to celebrate in The Haveli. The whole Rasam looked like a freaking joke.

Bas, yehi DJ waley Babu mera Gana Chala do ki Kami Bachi thi!

Thank You. Thank You, Thank You! for this post😆

No offense to Punjabis here and everywhere😃

I am a South Indian and not aware of many cultures and traditions of other states in India. So what's with the fascination of this Punjabi culture and tradition in every show and every movie. If Pandyas are Gujarati, I would like them to follow that culture and tradition and choose songs and dance accordingly. As an audience who is unaware of Gujarati culture, would like to learn something new.

I am very disappointed with these small details being ignored and clearly shows that the makers are taking audience/fans for granted😕

But I'm really looking forward for Suman's relationship advice to Shiva for applying it on his marriage!

About Sandcastles, Hope and Dreams!

Coming to Part 2 of the women in Shiva’s life today:

Unaware of the turmoil that's about to topple her mini sandcastle of hope which she has been building over after last night, Raavi is in her parallel universe, where she is her queen, and all is well. Much alike to her imaginary world where Dev was her hero.

Here, the problem with Raavi-Shiva is the lack of emotional connection or even the slightest inclination to include each other as partners. Raavi is mounting her expectations without an iota of understanding about the deep traumatic history of Shiva. On the other hand, Shiva is reclusive in most of his compartmentalised feelings to allow her even a sneak peek into his darkest moments.

Raavi-Shiva are like functional units of a disjointed puzzle. It will take a gazillion moons to pass by before they commence their journey as emotional units.

Image

The slightest glimpse of hope and attraction.

She is beaming, seemingly unaware about any pain that has swam into Shiva’s eyes. She has built a sandcastle of hope. All seems to be okay in her world.

Image

Shiva has transcended into a different plane. He isn't angry or anguished anymore. He is calm and hurting from the insides.

Image

She looks at him with hope and love. He isn't Raavi’s Shiva yet, nor he ever was. His world revolved around her, but at this moment, he is reliving the demons of his past.

Image

She is blushing in peaches and cream. She thinks the people important to her are bonding while utterly oblivious to her evil mother figure and hurting her husband. Takes me back to Raavi’s delusional world. Abandonment had made her genuinely delusional at times! Sadly, she is the victim in a scenario she has no deep understanding about.

Image

Her bubble is burst to hear the Kangan issue again!

Sandcastles aren't real homes. Shivi have a lot more to deal with than being attracted to each other. ❤️

Another beautiful analysis ❤️

You are right.shivi have a long way to go. There is absolutely no emotional connect yet. They can't even acknowledge each other as husband and wife yet. Just a few save scenes and moments of physical attraction are not enough.

Raavi has taken baby steps in her imaginative world, but it will come crashing down.it will be interesting to see how they take it from here.

Awwww, this scene broke my heart! Suman and Shiva have a special bond❤️ which I don't see much with Dev and Krish. I also like Suman and Gautam's bond. Some of their pre-leap scenes were great!
