for some reason, the precap of yesterday's episode has resonated with me so much - I've watched it at least 15 times by now and gotten chills from it
the emotion, the depth, the consistency, the reality, and the way KD and Alice portray it, is truly outstanding

one thing that stood out to me the most is Shiva's hand flick - that small, itty bitty hand flick says it all and is so relevant to his character
coupled with the calm and cool posture KD had enveloped, it's an absolute treat to watch
I can't wait for this scene to air
A bit of light hearted trivia before i sleep (also i have actually caught up on this whole thread.. So proud of myself)
Mansukh is also Gautam's friend's name (same episode as below)
Kaand was also used by padosi wale uncle in the episode where they go to get papers from the lawyer's office.
That's some detailed research you have done 😆
They have immense love for each other, that's because Suman feels after Gautam, it's Shiva who understands her pain and suffering. Shiva at an early age understood Mami's evil nature and tried to protect and be helpful to the family. I can' never forget the scene you mentioned
Krish is a bachcha, playful, she uses him to extract information😆 when she is not included in the family matters and with Dev, he is also the quiet kind and all he cared about was to be in the good books of everyone and didn't want to get in trouble.
Yess...shiva matured at a very early age.he understood maami's evil nature even before gombi.
The reaction he has after seeing the wounds in gombi's back💔 . There was a reason why that scene was shot with shiva alone not the other brothers.
There is no maryada or lihaz for him when it comes to his family. The kitchen scene with the brothers after dhara was insulated in yhe godhbharai is proof of that.how appalled he was about how his brothers didn't do anything.dev talks about maryada and he chides him off.
Dev has always been a bit aloof, I still haven't exactly got his character after so many episodes. Krish is the baccha of the family whom his elder brothers and bhabi have shielded from the world.

Part 3:
Suman Shiva- Because a Mother always knows-
As much as I hate Suman for her patriarchal approach, one thing is for sure that she is a mother who can get even the slightest change in the feelings of her sons.
Raavi is blushing, Dhara is happy during the Rasam, but only Suman can see the hurt on Shiva’s face. She can read through the pain during the arti or whenever he is bound to do Rasams with Prafulla. You can see how worried she is looking at Shiva while Maami feeds him the Laddoo
She closed her eyes at the mention of the Kangan
when she closes her eyes, you can see her feel the pain that her son has living with for her for the past 10 years
not only does she understand shiva's insistence and love for her, but she notices how shiva has mirrored every emotion she had felt for the past 10 years, how shiva has lived the traumatic experience through his own eyes and through hers as well, how shiva has carried the burden of his own unresolved feelings along with the guilt of 'not fulfilling' his loyalty towards his mother

Another beautiful analysis ❤️
A mother always knows!
The way Suman closed her eyes in the last scene when shiva mentioned not taking raavi with him.it was as if she was seeing this coming.
In the end did he say chal bhaag?
