Not seen the episode, but having read the update, I agree with you.

They have agreed to divorce, Purvi has agreed to marry again - what is the point of all this nonsense? At least Vipul is someone known and who already cares for Purvi...what's the harm?

And if you don't want her to get married then do something concrete
