I still think it is more torture for Ahaan than Ishqi. Ishqi did not have to beg dadi, it was her choice but for Ahaan it is very different. He doesn’t have escape form dadi. The way she threaten himof suicide, the way she tells him that he will become orphan again if he does this or that, the way she constantly abuse his mother in front of him is nothing but mental toruture. Dadi is very evil and she hurt this guy everyday with her words.

He said dadi until now he did everything she has been saying but in case of ishqi he has to listen to himself. That’s the only one thing he wants for himself as he feels liberated with her. The sense of liberation which he never felt for these years in malhotra house.

I agree completely ... and that ishqi monologue was foreshadowing this. She knows AVM will shatter in pieces with this hate n love. I mean for once the guy wanted to follow his heart - just once and look at the outcome.

To be honest, I think Ahaan doesn’t know how to hate - he is passionate but not hateful - he does these horrid things as form of self destruction and self-loathe. He has abandonment issues because of his mom leaving and shows how much he hates her & such women. But the moment he sees her, his heart will start melting and start questioning ... if anything he always wants to know “why” anyone did what they did and that is an important question to ask.

Ahaan has it worse, I agree. However the difference comes with the fact fhaf he has only his suffering while Ishqi has to jhelo her messy life and now his messy life also.

Ishqi's suffering never added onto Ahaan's while he, intentionally or unintentionally always ended up putting her through more shi t than she was already dealing with..

I won’t be surprised if their pasts are intertwined somehow. Ishqi’s and Ahaan’s parent’s story.

All this Ishqi coming to rescue Ahaan’s family every time looks like foreshadowing to me.

In Gul’s shows it’s been a recurring theme in all of what I have seen.

i dont want to compare who has it worse but i want to say that when you are in a strong headspace things dont feel worse vs when you are in a weak headspace.

emotionally ishqi is strong because she has always done what she wanted to and she has that self faith. isliye she will always be the one to handle the situation.

while ahaan is emotionally weak. he has never got the love one needs to feel liberated. he had no idea about anything until ishqi entered his life. he doesnt have that self faith that is needed to navigate through life. but what he has is financial stability.

this relationship is an exchange of emotional stability and financial stability.
