Reason for Shaurya hiding their social marriage plan from Anokhi - Page 4

I think that is the uniqueness of this show that keeps me interested ....I just cant take a side...Few days ago there was discussion that shaurya’s character has been whitewashed but clearly we are seeing the flaws again now in his way of handling situations , making decisions for their relationship, not thinking deeply before taking actions....similarly we discussed how wrong or typical it was for Anokhi to give in to the blackmail and sacrifice her love etc without any communication..,. but now we could somehow justify her action and sympathise with her... both their characters have good and bad sides....none of them are perfect and i am in to see how they adjust their inherent character and soch to be with each other because their love is strong and thats the foundation of any relationship... at some point of time everyone need to make compromises and adjustments in a relationship and the strength of love may be a deciding factor if people are willing to do it to stay in that relationship ...I don’t expect them to change completely because that would be unreal... they would make mistakes, realise their mistakes and learn from it gradually... its a journey of both that I am eager to watch rather criticising any particular character...I can see some positive changes in both the characters..... for me the episodes are really worth watching as they are giving me food for thoughts and motivating me enough to spend some of my precious time to write long posts😅

This forum is meant for discussion and we all have our own views. We may learn from each other's thought process. We all love this show and the Shakhi. We all are just trying to analyse the behaviour of characters and not criticize anyone. This is the only show I am watching and honestly I just can't watch anything else.

Why in the world should Anokhi trust Shaurya??? Him being angry for keeping his goodwill above their love is sign of selflessness which a man like Shaurya will never understand... Hence, I still I don't know why should one be angry...

There is no logic, In fact this is the Shaurya we have been having from the beginning, He has been brought up this way, always thinking about himself. His wife, his mom, his dad, his BM, his BP etc etc. So he is being true to character. Everyone is saying he has changed, even he is saying he has changed, but that is not the case.

But he also has some good traits: He will go to any length to protect the person he loves, He cannot suffer fools (though he himself behaves like one sometimes).

We have a tendency to have a soft spot for the male lead especially when he is shown broken,

Now coming to Anokhi- She is also very self centered in her own way, which she needs to be to achieve whatever she wants to when it comes to her carer. But she is also as stubborn as Shaurya, and because of her immaturity does not communicate. There is also the fact during her outburst to push him away she said by putting sindoor only this is not a wedding, so he is now giving her a wedding...Shaurya is looking for a reaction on her part to fight for him but she has not caught the bait...

However, this show is not so bad, when compared to other shows where the ore the daughter in law cries, sacrifices etc the more people appreciate.

Let us enjoy this serial which is depicting exactly what it had advertised, how a male chauvinist will slowly change with time. It has only started, the journey is yet to really start...

@Orange - I never favored Anokhi's lack of communication and infact have time and again mentioned her not picking up Shaurya's is annoying to me! But my problem is that Anokhi's flaws are exaggerated to such an extent to minimize or discard Shaurya's flaws... He has never suffered for anything he has done with Anokhi...

@Green - What a favor! 😆 if Anokhi is anything like what she was in episode 1 she would rather have a proper treatment and respect over wedding to be honest...

@Purple - I wouldn't have mind all the nonsense being dished out this week had Makers made us feel that they are showing Shaurya wrong or in a negative light... Or that Anokhi would be shown having problem with all this... Problem is that makers seem to show that whatever he is doing right now is absolutely perfect... And Anokhi deserved... That's what Fans want to see! That's what makers are giving! That's what is bringing low trps..! Constant whitewashing in zero clarity on has he changed or not... Are his actions ever going to be called out...

As I said... I take Astha's advice as Makers thought process / antaraatma ki awaz.. If she says.. Something is right.. It's right.. If she is Supporting Shaurya... He is right... They made Astha like character pointless to bow to Shaurya!

Shauryas method is wrong I guess. Maybe he should sit and explain her. But selflessness is a cherished attribute. But it shouldn't be glorified in some places. Shaurya doesn't want Anokhi to keep making sacrifices for him. Though if he doesn't tell her soon agreed he is taking it a bit too far. He is grateful for her love which he admitted when he said only the one who truly loves u can do that. But he never wants it to happen again. Not making a fight here. Just expressed my viewpoint. And I respect your opinion.

Also note that if criticising every episode is wrong (which I don't think is always the case) praising every episode isn't even mark of greatness/positivity. It's unhealthy!

There is absolutely no parallels atleast in my opinion ... Shaurya has made hell lot of follies in this journey of their... And so has Anokhi... But for every mistake Anokhi has made.. She was made to go through hell in order to 'achieve' Shaurya's acceptance... Be it on the confession night when she said something stupid along lines of revenge or be it trying to not tell him the reason..

I am sad that the show is totally focused on constantly highlighting Shaurya's abandonment issues and constantly.... Literally constantly blame everything on that for his every action is not cool!

@Bold + Italics - Do makers remember this? That they are supposed to highlight and apparently show ideal path of overcoming such biases..

I don't understand what the show is focused on right now. It seems to be a repetition of the OG where the ML got away with everything and the FL was always at the receiving end. I was wrong to have expected any different. One of the reasons I have been sticking to this show for this long was this forum but nowadays this feels like a strange place where a difference of views is unwelcome.

The episodes are good as one of episodes but if seen in the context of the show and its premise they don't make much sense. All the characters have lost their essence. I seriously need a frustration thread.

Shaurya wouldn't hate Anokhi with near wedding.. But chances are Anokhi will be terribly upset with him (atleast that's what I hope for)...

Anokhi has always fought for her rights in the show.. She does not need to be taught separately... Whether it happens again or not will depend on Shaurya's skills to control his family and his ex fiance... Not Anokhi... She fought even for their useless sindoor drama... What more could she do? Fight for him to have both his career and love? 😆 toh Shaurya kya karega?

He doesn't mean she fight alone. He just meant he should have told her. So they could think what to do. He is one nonsensical family agreed....

And I think the main thing Shaurya did wrong was involve Shagun in plan. That is where I think he was completely wrong.
