Deepika Padukone // Alia Bhatt // Samantha Akkineni - Better actress? - Page 2

Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone are in another league altogether. Samantha does not match up to them I'm afraid.

My bias of much preferring Hindi cinema is at play here too of course. But I don't think from what I've seen from Samantha that she has anything for these girls.

IMO, Alia Bhatt is miles ahead of DP and Samantha.

That said, there's something cute about Samantha that makes you wanna watch her. Her acting though is meh!

How old is Samantha , looks a decade older then Alia

Having had equal exposure to Hindi, Telugu and Tamil cinema, I can say Samantha and Alia are closer in terms of caliber but Sam has got a slight edge over her.

Alia got the best of offers falling into her lap from the very beginning whereas Sam was an outsider who had to struggle to establish herself and prove that she is a good actress (fewer good roles to women down South). A lot of years went into just establishing herself. Really solid roles only started coming her way in the last 3-4 years.

Tbh, aliaa pulled off highway in her second film….particularly those close ups lingering on her face for minutes as she expressed …that’s tough for a newbie

I don’t think Samantha was at that skill level in her second film ( she did that Tamil movie with Rahul, and brindavanam in Telugu I think)

Tho alia has regressed whereas Samantha has progressed further …
