This was a thing back then!! I was too small to understand then but now looking back, so many heroines from the 90s and 00s era make these orgasmic faces. I've seen Kajol doing this so many times in her songs.

The biggest irony is that even after getting rated A by censor board, movie songs are played on regular music channels at all times! I don't know if the songs are censured or not, but many are definitely not suitable for kids.

That’s so true, I didn’t understand it then, but only laterrealized that the ‘expression’ on HW and western actresses’ faces during

intercourse, sex scenes is what Indian heroines show on a regular basis in song sequences which the whole family sits and watches

Just a hug, a kiss, even a touch was enough for them to give that expression 😆

But it made me wonder... if Amisha Patel was in Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon 🤪

I'm sure she would have done what Kareena done AND MORE.

Because at the end of the day, just before the scene is shot, the director discusses with the actors what he wants from them, and then he says "ok" after the take before moving onto the next scene.

So the "performance" we got from Bebo in MPKDH, the credit is shared heavily with Sooraj Barjatya.

I found Kareena incredibly annoying in K3G, but the flaws in that performance are all VERY Karan Johar related.

Both films, she gives us a different flavour of bad performance. Which indicates the director's input.

Coming back to Amisha, the few films I have seen of her, I can easily see her emulating Kareena's over-the-top act in MPKDH.

Just a thought.

Amisha over the top?!? Never!!!!

Nope... Kareena didn't have the innocence like ameesha. Hrithik-Ameesha chemistry was the best thing about KNPH along with the songs ofcourse.

I personally never liked Hrithik and Kareena pairing.

Thanks heaven for Kareena not doing KNPH and KHNH. Both are my favorite movies.
