Hello hello,
I've just watched the episode and am probably one of the few who liked it. Yes there was too much melodrama but overall the episode was a lot more digestible compared to some of the previous ones (my hum saath saath hai vibes were in full force).
Some of the finer points i liked:
- Rishita agreeing it was partly her fault but keeping true to herself and mentioning Shiva and Krish.
-Suman telling Dhara she won't let her make the same mistake her mother did (I think this was probably the first time in 10 years that Suman has genuinely wanted to differentiate between Dhara and her mother even though she'd accepted her as a bahu)
-The hand scenes, shiva hesitating in putting his hand on Raavi’s in the family hug and on her shoulder during the pooja were so apt. They've shared the most meaningful conversation probably of their whole entire life together(till date) whilst on the brink of death, which they probably would never do otherwise. How do you then treat that person? This scene was just all ❤️❤️❤️.
-Dhara staying mum during the dinner/breakfast scene when Shivi were arguing. (She's actually taking a step back from their married life and letting them resolve their problems... Maybe instead of all the violence this was what was needed?)
- Suman's decision on Shiva's consumption was spot on. It forces them to communicate without the arguments which they did so so cutely (ankhon hi ankhon mein ishara ho gaya).
- For the first time I could see why Dev and Rishita love each other. She's definitely smarter than she looks, she's understanding the lesson being taught despite not really approving the methods (hoping she doesn't go backwards too much since she had a quick character turnaround) and Dev definitely knows how to charm his way back into her good books when he puts in the effort.
- Dhara playing back Suman's words was very poignant. We're 🤞hopefully 🤞 going to see a more subdued Dhara, but a stronger one who doesn't cry about every small thing. It was also really needed to see that those words did affect her and I'm hoping that they touch upon this later, especially when she does fall pregnant. (Maybe this SR will do what pre-leap SR didn't).
One dialogue I wish they had was, when Dev said mere parivaar mein, when they went to get the kheer, she'd corrected him and said hamara parivaar (i know too soon for that, but she was shouting mera parivaar a couple of episodes ago)
Star of the show is a tie between Krish's thoughtful look when Dev leaves and Gautam tells him to mind his own business and Suman finally accepting Rishita as a bahu, which is going to keep her on Pandya side.
