On a lighter note, my 5 year daughter says, she likes Danish because she likes his face. And then likes SMP, because she likes her dresses and earrings. So that trumps all.😉

Honest ranking guys according to my ears

1. Arunita

2. Sayli

3. Pawandeep

4. Ashish

5. Mohammed Danish

6. Nihal

7. Sawaii

8. SMP

9. Anjali

. Even when Arunita was not appreciated by the judges, I always liked her voice and felt she was the best female contestant amongst the original top 15.

. Sayli came out of nowhere to become my 2nd favorite. She started off as an ok singer but has really become a fantastic singer lately. My only gripe is I wish she would sing out of her comfort zone more often.

. Pawandeep was my favorite throughout the season but as he has been recovering from COVID, he is slowly regaining his form. I now feel Arunita is a better singer.

. Ashish started off great but fell off signifcantly. However I still feel he is a pretty decent singer. I would much prefer Nachiket in his spot but what can you do?

. Mohammed Danish started off terribly, became really good/frontrunner status, and now is kind of a sterotypical singer. I don't enjoy his singing as much as I used to. I want the Danish who gave us "Jhoom Baraber Jhoom" "Apne" "Teri Yaad." Now he is just trying to add too many alaps and even when he just sing it doesn't sound as soulful as it should

. Nihal is the yo-yo of the competition. One week he is decent. The next he is pretty bad. However I prefer his singing to SMP, Sawaii, and Anjali. However I feel a singer like Sahil Solanki was more deserving of this spot than Nihal personally.

. Sawaii has had his fair share of good performances but has more bad than good performances. However I can still listen to him because he really does shine when he sings well. I think he would have made the top 9 objectively regardless of any stereotypes.

. This thread already knows how much I can't stand SMP's singing. She's had maybe 1 or 2 good performances throughout the competition. A singer like Anushka or Sireesha was more deserving of this spot

. Same with Anjali.She just does the same old classical singing over and over again and when she tries to branch out it doesn't sound good at all. A singer like Anushka or Sireesha was more deserving of top 9.

I like arunita, nihal's voice.

I love Arunitha , Nihal and Sayli's voice.

Arunita (I actually like both almost equally, but Sayli has a slight edge, IMO)

Danish (Inspire of his neverending alaaps, he is really good)

Nihal (A few weeks ago I'd have dismissed Nihal as a lightweight, but he's really pleasant to listen to, partly because he gets songs suited to him)

Pawandeep (I think this guy can be great, but he's also lacklustre at times)

SMP (Again, she's grown on me. She's by no means a great singer, but she's a livewire on stage, and if she only gets over her tendency to showcase yodelling and pitch changes, she'll be a terrific stage performer, or so I feel)

Ashish (Like SMP, not the greatest singer, but full of verve on stage; a true performer. This is not to call him a bad singer, but he'll rock it as a stage show artiste. I still remember his early performances)

Anjali (Greatly improved expression-wise, but her best is classical singing, and as one judge told her, a career as a classical singer is not any less)

Sawai (Fab when it's his day/song/genre, but prone to get shown up at times for the very thing that makes him stand out--sort of rawness or lack of finish, which can't always work)
