I am so sorry to be late but i have been busy with my finals currently and also my grandmother is unwell. Sso here goes the third part

Part 3

"Yeh kya bakwaas kar rahe ho Raghav" Baba shouted as he threw the sweet box from Farhad's hand.

"Relax Sanki Sasur ji, oops sorry Marathi father in law. Yeh sab main tumhara liye hi toh kar raha hai." Raghav replied and all the faces present in the room dropped to confusion. Amma and Keerti stood hiding their smiles as they were well aware of what Raghav had exactly planned and he hadn't even started yet.

"Offo itna load kayko leta hai. Main samjhata hai abhi tum mera ghar aaya, sweet sweet pita ji bana aur phir mera sir par bomb phod kar gaya. Par uss bomb main tum ek baat sahi se bola ki aisa kaise shaadi hota hai jisme koi family ka member hi nahin tha." he gave a sweet smile as he made himself comfortable on the chair.

" Ab tumhara bhi toh koi dream hoga na apni beti ka shaadi ke liye toh maine socha ki main itna achcha, itna shareef damaad hai tumhara toh main kaise tumhara dream todta. Sahi bola na main Saree ka dukaan. Ab tumhara baba, mera baba." he winked at his wife who was in shock with this entirely old yet updated version of Raghav Rao.

"Hume tumhara koi tamasha nahin chahiye. Dada aap abhi tak chhup kya khade hai. Nikaaliye isse ghar se bahar." Sulochana Kaku instigated Raghav.

"Koshish karke dekhlo tum. Par main tumko pehle hi future bata deta hai. Aee bada bindi ka ghulam tum mereko ek baari woh patni organization ke baare main bataya tha na. Wahi jo tumhara ek dost chalata hai." Raghav pointed at Kaka.

'are han woh toh mera dost Sumit chalata hai. Badi madad karta hai pareshaan patiyon ki. Maine toh prime membership li hui hai." Kaka spoke in reflex but the next moment cursed himself as he realised what he said.

"han toh main abhi usko phone karke bulata hai. Woh kya hai na ki mera biwi tumhara iss ghar main tum lekar aaya hai , merese door woh bhi bina kisi reason ka. Mujhe usse door rakhkr tum mereko torture kar raha hai. Main abhi complaint daalta hai phir woh apna mard morcha laakar tumhara iss gora chehra par ek permamnent kala bada bindi banakar jayega." Raghav shrugged as he acted to dial a number.

'Yeh kya bakwaas hai. Dada app isko kuch boliye na." Kaku got scared.

"Yeh sab bakwaas kar raha hai sulochna. Meri beti yahan apni marzi se aai hai. Koi zabardasti nahi laya hai usse. Kyun haina Pallavi?" Baba eyes Pallavi who kept shut as she contemplated on telling the actual truth but was binded by her oath.

Raghav watched the uneasiness on his face as he swiftly moved to her, standing too close as he inhaled her smell. Still strawberry.

"Achcha toh kya reason hai tumhara Pallavi. Kyun aaya hai tum yahan?" Raghav asked.

"Woh-woh main, tum" Pallavi stammered.

'Chalo main hi easy kardeta hai. tum bass han ya na main jawaab dena." he looked directly into her eyes.

'Kya main tumko marta hai? Ya kabhi tumpar haath uthaya main?" Raghav asked.

"Raghav yeh tum kya-" Pallavi was shocked beyond her wits. Raghav did scared her at times but never raised a hand on her. No. He was not that person.

"Han ya na Pallavi." Raghav demanded.

"Nahin"

"Kya maine tumko dowry ke liye force kara ya torture kara?"

"nahin."

"Kya mera amma aur behen ne tumko torture kara?"

"Nahin" Pallavi looked staright into his eyes. Her tears threatening to fall.

"Kya main tumpar cheat kara?" Raghav asked in a small voice.

A lone tear escaped her eye as she nodded her head in a no.

"Han ya na Pallavi. Bass han ya na." Raghav asked again.

"Nahin." Pallavi removed her eyes from him as she looked down. She wanted to hug him so bad because his eyes spoke how much he was hurt to even ask those question.

"Main toh innocent nikala Sasur ji." Raghav turned to baba.

"Ab main tumko ek baat batayega. Yeh shaadi toh hoyega, tumko shaadi dekhne ko anhin mila tha na ab main live dikhayega." he roared as he made his way to Aai.

"Aai" he spoke in a soft voice as he took her hands in his.

"Amma batayega mereko ki tum Pallavi ko life main aage badhta dekhna chahta tha. Aai main Pallavi ka haath thamna chahta hai. Hamesha ke liye. Main vada karta hai ki dobara kabhi usko hurt nahin karega. Mar jayega lekin usko kabhi akela nahin chhodega. Tum chahta tha na ki pallavi khush rahe. Suhagan bane kisika. Main usko woh sab happiness dena chahta hai. Par pallavi ke liye tum bahut important hai isliye main tumse permission chahta hai. Kya tum mereko apna beti ke liye accept karega." he asked with a small smile making Aai cry as she gransped his hand tigher and nodded in a yes.

He gently bent down and touched her feet taking her blessings and doing it the right way this time.

He then went back to Pallavi, he had rehearsed the entire night to say the perfectwords to her but nothing popped his mind but right now as if in a reflex and honestly. His mouth knew the exact words he was feeling right now.

"Pichli baar maine sab gadbad kara tha. Na rishta lekar aaya. Na tumhara Aai baba se baat kara aur na hi tumse pucha. Bass ek rational decision liya hai aur sab kharaab kardiya." he turned to face Nikhil, "Sorry yaar Junior college tereko bada pareshaan kara." he apologized to him as he looked back to his wife, the women who meant everything to him now.

"Tum sab kuch perfect deserve karta tha aur maine tumse woh chheen liya par ab main woh mistake dobara nahin karega. Iss baar road pr 2000 ka note ka ring banakr nahin, balki ek asli ring hazaro logo ke saamne specially hamara families ke saamne pehnakar tumse tumhara life main jagah chahta hai. Aaj raat 8 baje maine hamara enagement ka party rakha hai par iss baari decision tumhara hai. Agar tumko lagta hai ki main apna life main tumko deserve karta hai toh tum aana, main tumhara wait karega aur agar tum nahin aaya toh main tumpar koi decision nahin thopega. Isko apna punishment maankar poora life tumhare liye wait karega. Ab decision tumhara hai Pallavi." he held her hand putting his chain in her hands. "Yeh sab raatka function ke liye hai" he pointed to the huge amount of thali's.

"Main tumhara wait karega magar mereko accept karna na karna tumhara decision hoyega." he smiled at her as he made his exit from the house taking away his family with him hoping for a magical evening and a beautiful start to his new life.

Pallavi looked at his retreating figure and then at her baba who was eyeing her with anger and hatred filled for the man she had started falling in love with him. Nobody in these past 2 years had ever given a choice in her life but this time a man walked in and gave her the authority of her own life, an authority to make her own decision. Was she happy stuck being where she was or she wanted to move on with him towards happiness and love for eternity.
