Sanki is now going to keep using Pallavi to hurt Raghav, I think. I know that he realized Raghav cares for Pallavi but he also believes that these two were having an affair before so separating them would give him so much satisfaction. There's another element here that sanki's behavior made me realize - taking away the wife of a powerful man like him, and watching him be unable to move a finger was a great moment of victory that sanki was aiming for. Rich and successful men with a nature like Raghav/s are very possessive (and even obsessive) about everything that is in their life, even their wives. Especially their wives. Taking his wife away is like stripping him of his status in society, especially after the public way in which their wedding was announced in the reception.

It also was a power play attempted by sanki to show Raghav that his life partner was only his in name, and the ultimate control lay with Sanki, that Pallavi would only listen to him and not to Raghav. Of course, he failed to factor in the point that Pallavi wouldn't listen to either, but to her own conscience only.

She sees the ego battle between both men and refuses to be drawn into it. Good for her! Although, Raghav's dialogues today were on point and not exaggerated. I honestly do believe that if Sanki hadn't been her Baba, he would have kicked him out of the house or given him a big thrashing. I loved the way he nodded at him to leave the house.

Things are going to be really awkward when Raghav will return to D-house. 😆

Yes, this is all I wanted to say. Very aptly put, Jean 👏

Sanki ke ego pe lag rahi hai since Raghav has entered their lives. All VD wants that Pallavi should follow his orders, if she doesn't he resorts to "Ab tumhe meri jaroorat thodi hai". He has long forgotten that she has a will and mind of her own. Something that isn't uncommon in Indian society.

Also there is a revenge factor. Raghav has been the cause of VD's so-called beizzati in society. Raghav-Pallavi being close to each other (even if behind challenge, for unaware people it meant something else), going to his house, Mansi ke enagement me saath me dance, blouse incident, being with him in Mansi's sangeet, abortion kaand and lastly, Raghav defaming Pallavi. He wants same beizzati for Raghav. He knows that family is weakness for Raghav and he keeps using it. Last time it was his amma, today Pallavi. VD knows Raghav cares for his izzat in his family's eyes and is attacking there.

Absolutely, he is come to the conclusion that everything is fair in love and war. VD can clearly see that Pallavi is Raghav’s weakness & what better way to hurt him than separating her from him. Maybe he is becoming our next villain in Raghvi’s life. He has always been selfish & will go to any extent to ruin Raghav.

Sai totally nailed it .

1st male lead doesnt need any dialogues to portray emotions.. 😘😘😘😍😍

I found it a raghvilicious episode..as. Taking a stand for ur partner infront of every one at this stage of relation is a treat to watch...

Wo bhi RR jaisa partner jiska track record itna ganda rha hai bachpan se hi kaand ker rha hai🤪

The Deshmukhs- they're frustrating in the way only well written characters can be, and they've been written with exceeding amounts of consistency since day one. Vijay is extremely susceptible to conformation bias. He decides his hunch, and then looks only at the evidence that validates it. He's done this before, when the Pallavi-Raghav rumors first started when Asha saw them in her room. He convinced himself then and there that something shady was going on. Sulochana, who has an excellent understanding of people's characteristics, was able to exploit this perfectly, and kept planting doubt. It's because of all this that when Raghav did pull his stunt that infamous night, Vijay believed everything so easily, and it culminated in Pallavi being thrown out, a consequence I genuinely don't think Raghav had even predicted.

Today, they were characteristically hypocritical. With Mansi asking why Pallavi is still in that house, they're defaulting to their old narrative of Raghav and Pallavi having a clandestine affair since long. This allows them to both whitewash their own actions with how Pallavi was treated, and also pretend that Pallavi had eloped with her boyfriend, and they can forgive her and bring her back, when the apology and forgiveness should actually be the other way around.

Two relationships were acknowledged today after being denied for long- Vijay accepting Pallavi as his daughter, and Pallavi accepting Raghav as her husband, and such a good contrast between the two. For Vijay, accepting Pallavi back was just a means to an end to hurt Raghav and control Pallavi, since if he disowns her he has no right over her. Had she gone back, he would have held this ‘forgiveness’ over her for the rest of his life. Pallavi accepting Raghav comes on the back of him having actually earned that faith from her, with no ulterior motives from her end. And I can't even imagine how much this would have meant to Raghav. He was at the lowest of points last night, completely convinced that no one wants him around. And he has seen just how desperately she has been craving her family, and she's now standing against them because she sees his honesty in the situation.

I do enjoy how the Deshmuskhs are written as it creates the tension in the story. It also very well shows the human psychology and their self serving bias.

The powerplay, I so agree. And the control part too. How he thought Pallavi will go with him chup chaap without any question. Pallavi needs to instill in his head that she has her own mind and can take decisions on her own. She doesn't need his guidance and zindagi sawarna and all. LOL. There is a line between toxic control and rights over children/daughter in laws.. Vijay has been crossing that line repeatedly.

Raghav will return to D-house after that, uncomfortable thought. But he has to because of his promise to Saree Ka Dukan. The way things are going ek din Pallu khud hi bol degi rehne do Raghav. 😆

I think Sanki started to lose his mind bit by bit when he first saw the signs of 'rebellion' in his usually-docile bahu. In his mind, it was Raghav who was having a negative influence on her and he had failed to keep them apart. Now, seeing Pallavi have a voice and mind of her own is going to be impossible for him to digest, so he chalks it up to her being on her husband's side just because they are married. She tries to correct him, but he doesn't care.

Raghav going back to D-house after all the insults today and the blows to his pride, is really a big move that I think Pallavi will appreciate even more after what happened. She knows he's alone in that house and has to live in that toxic atmosphere day after day. I feel as if she is going to pay him visits there just to check up on him, even if she may not admit it. Same old habit, her showing up at 'his' house, LOL

@bold I would really really love to see her get fed up of sanki's behavior one day, grab Raghav's arm and lead him out of the house once and for all.

Love this post!

The Ds are counter balances for the leads and even though we find them annoying, their traits and interactions with the leads drives the narrative. Aside from Amruta, all of them are written with some depth so as to help create various tracks and complications in the story.

@bold, considering how overwhelming this must have been, especially after the state he was in last night, I think Sai did a fantastic job of portraying Raghav's reaction to seeing his wife stand up for him of her own accord, and sacrifice this opportunity to reunite with her family and leave this trap, in favor of the more difficult path of truth. I have watched today's scenes a few times because the have been written at multiple levels and with each viewing I'm finding new things to appreciate and admire.

Everything that Sanki feels Raghav took from him, I bet he will find ways to take them from Raghav, and he is going to use Pallavi and Ayi for that.

Gosh, I can't imagine his heartache when she leaves him.

The last scene was brilliant, especially the closing shot where she looked hurt and a bit lost, but Raghav was standing right behind her, symbolic of letting her make her decisions but always supporting her in everything. The scenes were beautifully designed today, great screenplay!

I know. But ready for such heartbreaks honestly. Abhi se hi itni takleef ho rahi hai toh trust aur companionship establish hone ke baad kaise hogi. 😒

She is not just his life partner, but also his only anchor on his way to live life without any guilt or hollowness. He has it in him to love people, but she is his medium to reveal that side to the world and to himself, as Farhad said in the beginning. Anna ki achhaai sirf Pallavi jaisi ladki hi duniya ko bata sakti hai. (At that time I didn't take it seriously). Now it has been proved. She did that in the reception, and now to her own family and his family. Farhad said that not just because she is good, but also because she can stand up for what she believes in, as she used to do with Raghav. Her righteousness was first against Raghav, and now it is for Raghav. Pehle for family tha, ab against family ho gaya (Raghav Anna ne kya toofaan machaya hai). 🤣

Screenplay was brilliant. 👏
