I have always used aap when it came towards like relatives(cousins, uncles, aunts). But I always used tum when it came towards my brothers. the way I think of it is a way of distinguishing your relationship. aap is very formula and respectable. but tum is very informal and close to home types. So I get why people would rather use aap than tum. But I really like the way he asked, and props to the writers, because he asked in such a genuine way and she saw how all he is asking is for someone to call his own because every where he looks he doesn't have that.
Everything about that scene where he is trying to convince her to come with him. I DIED. he was amazing. when he said humsafar I was like thank god. Remember when Ahir used it right before bridge scene?!
@bold I want to see it, and I want her to own it. She knows how he is, and she knows how much he loves her. We never really touched on her jealously, just her insecurities, so I want to see her jealously but I also want to see her protectiveness of him.
