I have another OS! đ
It's pretty obvious this couple inspires to write. So I posted a new one below.
I hope you'll like it!
âWhy are you so clumsy?â The woman asked as she applied some ointment on her husbandâs palm. The man shyly smiled at her but didnât say anything. Tejo always had his back. Sometimes quite literally. âYou know you couldâve burned yourself really bad right?â Tejo asked, as she put away the stack of cotton balls.
The man wanted to make pakoras for his wife and didnât realize that the oil he poured in had heated up.
âSorry I didnât realize the pot was piping hotâ he said, while smiling sheepishly. Tejo rolled her eyes and shot a glare at her husbandâs reaction, only to find him grinning.
âWhy are you smiling?â She asked as she put her hands on her hips. âYouâre cute when youâre madâ he teased. Tejo narrowed her eyes at her husband. Fateh smiled up at his wife, looking at her with the most innocent expression. Tejoâs face broke into a smile.
Her husband was adorable. Her husband. It had a ring to it. Sheâll never get tired of saying it.
Fateh extended his uninjured arm and pulled his wife, making her sit beside him. âYouâre lucky youâre cuteâ she said looking away. âOh yes, I know youâre in love with meâ he teased. Tejo pulled her husbandâs cheeks.
âYouâre quite lovable so I agreeâ she teased. She was in love with her husband. He was precious to her. Marrying whom she called âlafandarâ is not something she had expected, but then again, life was never predictable.
Tejo said a small prayer, showing her gratitude for having Fateh in her life. One time she had promised him that sheâd be ready to help 24/7. Now she really was with him 24/7. She smiled to herself.
âHello, what are you thinking about in that pretty head of yours?â Fateh asked and raised his eyebrows. Tejo smiled at him while raising her own eyebrows.
âNothing seriousâ she said. Fateh tilted his head to a side and asked, âare you sure?â Tejo softly laughed. âI am thankful youâre here, safe and sound in one piece. I am grateful youâre in my lifeâ she said. Fateh smiled at his wife, crowâs feet adorning the sides of his eyes.
âReally?â He asked. Tejo nodded her head. âDoes it hurt?â She suddenly asked, gently taking Fatehâs hand in her own. âNo, it doesnât he said, and cupped his wifeâs face with the uninjured hand.
She looked up at him and took the hand cupping her face in her own, before kissing his palm. âPlease be more carefulâ she said, her eyes filling with worry. âOh, my loveâ he said and gently pulled her into his arms, as she let go of his hand. âIâm always here, youâre not getting rid of me that easilyâ he added. She softly poked his chest. âI donât want to get rid of youâ she said.
He chuckled. âWe need to grow old together, right? See our children and even our great-grandchildren? Iâm not going anywhere my heartâ he said.
Tejo snuggled closer to his chest. âI pray youâre always safe and sound Fateh. No matter whatâ she said. âMy dear, I pray the same for you tooâ he said and kissed her head. Tejo hugged her husband. She felt safe in his arms.
âYouâre literally the king of clumsinessâ she said. Fateh chuckled. âOk my queen. Whatever you commandâ he said. He placed his chin on top of her head. Then he added, in his typical cheesy fashion âIâm YOUR King of Clumsy.â
Tejo chuckled. He always knew how to lighten the mood. Fatehâs positivity was undiminishing. He was warm and lighted up any room he walked into. He was her personal sun, and just like how the sun shines its light on the sea, illuminating its beauty, Fateh shone his light on her, bringing beauty to her life.
