This episode left me tired. I so don't want this sticky bubblegum that you guys keep pulling as long as it stretches dear makers - if you are going to get Amveer married, get on with it and finish it! So today is basically hug that I didn't like and tale of poisonous fruits.
This is Sakura on Kabutarkana 13. 31st May. The previous Rants are available on Insta and Twitter if you want to have a look at.
Oh and yes, since this is first Rant on IF let's get some ground cleared. This is written from the point of view of an Amveer fan who ultimately wants Amveer together. I don't want to suffer any ill conversation, moral policing or to be entirely frank any discussion on the other couple or associated fan wars. If you come to plaster your opinions on how I'm a sinful creature here I will report your comments. But peaceful discussion that doesn't come under the above are mostly welcome! Also, you are the master of your own will, please kindly don't read if the above warned content triggers you. Let's keep the forum clean and have healthy discussions while supporting our preferred couples.
Without further ado, let's get into business.
I keep to my word. I don't like physical contact that is initiated without consent. Be it R or Veer who ends up doing that. So this Amveer hug, where Veer pulled Amrit into his arms as soon as he helped her up, left a sour taste in my mouth.
Also I see where this is coming from. We are still marking this gray area around Veer, trying to sketch him out - find out what he exactly is. On a side note, the image they made together has my heart. If this man wasn't the summoner of the storm that has left her ragged, the way he tucked her against him is so heart warming.
Veer continues his dose of truth and lies. Ten truths over one lie is his ratio. He is genuine when he says that he couldn't help himself when he sees her pain. This woman that he thinks is the light of his life - of cause he doesn't want her in pain. But he deliberately hides the part where he is the cause of that pain. He is again genuine when he says, almost confesses that he is jealous of her love and trust - why, he asks, is there no one like that in my life?
Then the foreshadowing bit, he takes a step closer, looks into her eyes and asks - are you sure R would have trusted you like this had he been in your position. Direct link back to the moment R said that iconic "bharosa tha - bharosa tha!" Over nothing more than A supporting a man he choose to doubt. It wasn't even anything big, but his trust went to past tense.
A still smiles and says, of cause he will trust me twice as much! This seems to anger Veer, and he bites out - I will indeed, indeed help you. I wonder if he added in his head, if not to get R out, to get you disillusioned on this front. Because I think we will come to this point in future where this foreshadowing will come to pass and R will fail to give A the trust she needs.
Veer is such a poisonous fruit, sadly he may be the cure to Amrit's problem in the end. This episode reveals the poisons root that has caused such wicked fruit ie: PS.
I'm in no doubt about this man's real colour anymore. No good man would have taken such active and enthusiastic participation in post victory celebrations of their wicked plan as he did. The two laughs over how everything went according to their plan and the sarcastic smile in PS's face is enough for anyone to know where all the poison comes from. This man who had so much influence on this step son of his has practically moulded him into this flower of evil. While I still believe Veer will have his chance at redemption, that there is innate light in him which ultimately will guide him to the right path ...I think first of all he needs to be detatched from this evil root.
The two exchange how both R and A wants to meet each other and chuckles wickedly over how they should get them to meet indeed.
Meanwhile R has pieced everything together regarding Veer albeit too late and thinks he has to warn and save A. He requires to meet her and on the other hand A is outside brought there by Veer.
A goes on to say, how Veer is a good person for doing all this for her when nobody else would have done so. PS comes outside and tells them they can't see R as he is sleeping. He further tells that hearing is on day after tomorrow and if no evidence was found on R's innocence he will get minimum five years imprisonment.
Oh PS you made that up! You so made that up! There is no way in whatever legal system, that you would get sentenced five years for what happened with S. Unless you get S to lie for you and aggravate the matter. The most he could get charged for is assault and trespass. But alas, poor A doesn't know this and goes on to pray to her gods that they cannot possibly do this to her.
Rolling his eyes at her Veer asks PS couldn't you get the hearing faster? I'm dying to hear R get sentenced. PS says two days will do nothing. What evidence can they find. Oh the wicked way he says this - as if he cares nothing for the ideals that he represents.
So a little opinion here...I don't think they are planning to keep R in jail for five years. He won't get five years on a button. Unless they get S and B to lie. They are not making any arrangements for that. I guess what they mean here is that they want to confirm R's status as a prisoner and corner A through this. Because unless you are convicted, you can be easily bailed out - wonder why no one's trying? A you need to read some law, darling. Plus, I don't know about 1950s but there is a limit of keeping a suspect in custody. Eventually they will have to let R go. If they had to let him go before A is brought around they will lose their hold on her. I think that's the point of this dialogue.
Ah, then A feels faintish and Veer is there to hold her and take her back, all the while muttering reassurances in her ear that they will get R out.
These two gives a nice throw back pose to that first promo after leap. And this entire deal of looking into each other's eyes one looking up other looking down - like meeting midway, has such a romantic vibe.
Inside R is informed by PS that no one wants to meet him. R is still thinking of saving A though he is a little disappointed with A not coming to see him. Is this beginning of a crack I see? He steals PS's signature pen and tears a part of his own kurta to write a letter to A.
Holding the piece of cloth he says this is that veil which would be lifted and your game will be up Kuwar Veer Pratap Singh.
Uh I don't understand how he will get that message to A even if he writes it Oh so secretly? And if he has to entrust it to PS in the end why bother stealing the Pen dude? You could have asked for both pen and some decent paper. I think Vashmay will go to see him and do postal service. There has to be some point in them wasting so much time discussing A & R today. Uh but seriously dude you have to be antaryami to know they are coming already.
What I liked: they cleared matters on S' s incident. Like Veer saying to PS we had to deceive B& S effectively saying that what they did was an act to decieve them into thinking S was in danger. Also the paper article which says R was arrested over misbehaving (Chaed chad) with a woman and S screaming that's not all he did. It really cleared the air. And was much needed because there are certain people out there screaming bloody rape! Not to be rude, but if you are of age please go and read penal code definition of rape. What happened with S wasn't even grave sexual abuse. On the other hand if you are not of age to know exactly how rape is committed, and you still think S was raped - you need to stop watching this show. I can't answer your questions without exposing you to somethings that you are not ready to hear as of yet. Your tender ears may not take it well.
Good night!
