Ajay to play ‘Karan’ and Ranbir ‘Arjun’,

India's most famous epic 'Mahabharata' is now being set in contemporary times by filmmaker Prakash Jha whose 'Gangaajal' and 'Aparhaan' were well appreciated at the box-office.

Ajay Devgan is Prakash Jha's favorite actor so it was no surprise when the filmmaker roped in Ajay to play the character of Karan in this modern day 'Mahabharata' which is titled 'Rajniti'.

Ranbir Kapoor too, has been approached to be a part of the project to play the role of Arjun in the movie; and based on sources close to the production, the actor has readily said, "Yes" to this opportunity and he is looking forward to be a part of the 'Rajniti'.

Prakash Jha is tight lipped about his movie as he has not revealed whether his modern Mahabharata 'Rajniti will be have a business or a politics backdrop.

'Rajniti' will be shot extensively in India and USA, and Prakash Jha is working hard to make this movie as grand as the epic.

We are sure fans simply can't wait to see the new Karan-Arjun pair on-screen.
