Which are your favourite offbeat movies released in the last few years?

For me:

1. Death in the Gunj - A masterpiece, an absolutely compelling and intimate look into the unravelling of a tender mind. Performances which are superlative add to the unique flavour of this film.

2. Aligarh - A poetic look at love in its myriad hues, and especially homosexuality. More than anything else, Manoj Bajpai takes it to a different level.

3. Masaan - A look at the marginalised section of society, and two lives whose trajectories are not connected, and their battles through life.

4. The Lunchbox - A beautiful movie about how love can spring up in the most unexpected of places, between the most unexpected of people.

5. Ajeeb Dastans - Have to add this recent one to the list because of the way the stories have been structured, an unflinching and non-judgemental look at relationships.

6. Sir - A beautiful, poetic movie about how love can transcend power structures and how powerful love really is.

Tell me yours!!
