Not exactly but few similarities:

1. Mayank = Anshuman = Asshole boyfriend whom FL is getting married to.

2. FL is khiski and muh fatt like Ishki Khiski.

3. ML is akdu businessman whose Mom ran away. One who doesn't smile or know any adventure, tries to be sakth launda but gem at heart

4. ML never danced in rain but did after falling in love (tum se hi and chappak chappak resemblance).

5. Please add.. if you think there's any?

Yep.. Now that you mention I think the equation between the leads tends to have a simillar flow.

In jab we met also a lot of things the ML tries for the first time with the FL with the flow and starts liking it.

Ishqi is more mature than Geet, before all the heartbreaking..

But Mayank is the creep.. Anshumaan was plain idiot but not a villain..

One major difference, Ishqi doesn't have any feelings for Mayank, whereas Kareena thought she loved Anshuman.

Ishqi has been reminding me of Geet from jwm since the first episode...but then again all Gul heroines are like that
