K - No way Di... R u sure?
P - Shut up Krishna... What is there to be sure about? Farhad clearly told that he is 'The Raghav Rao'. I hated this guy before I met him and meeting just assured me how right I was. He has no sense of morality. U saw in the morning right what he did? How come dad even thought I will marry such a guy? We need to talk to him immediately.
K - Wait... wait.... Rani lakshmibai.... get down from ur horse. We will talk to him when we reach home. He will be in meeting anyhow so no use of calling him. Now I need to eat something ASAP so lets go.
P - Fine.
Krishna just halted to enquire.
K - Di... R u sure its not because of Mand...
P - Krishna... U have to race me to canteen now.
Pallavi cut her off mid-sentence as Krishna knew y. Krishna knew there is no use of talking any further. As they entered the canteen, the sigh left Pallavi’s lips.
P - Not again. He is here too. He really don't have anything to do or what? Or is he just following us.
K - Di... they were here before then how can th...
P - Yes ... Yes... I got it. Just zip and get the usual. I will get us the seats.
A stroll through the canteen somehow brought pallavi to the table Rao's were accommodated in.
F - Hey... Hi Pallavi... So here for lunch??? Sorry what a stupid question? Please join us. I would anyhow appreciate a less talkative company.
Raghav gave a simple stare and Farhad knew to change the topic at the very moment.
P - No... No formalities required. We will sit on another table. Won't want to disturb ur 'very interesting' chat. Its just..
Suddenly her voice raised.
P - U seriously don't have any concept of talking, I got it but did u put ur ears also on sale or what. wait...
She dropped her bag on table and went in a hurry. Farhad was surprised with the events but Raghav knew to whom those statements were directed at and within few minutes she came back with what clearly horrified Farhad.
F - Pallavi... don't. He really hates.. He will ki..
Pallavi just turned a bit and her stare was set on Farhad and somehow he knew to shut his mouth.
"What with these two? No one allows me to say anything."
P - Give me ur hand. Already told u to get the ointment but no. If u will listen to me once so ur hair will fall of right. Stupid Rao. Just give ur hand and shut up now. Oh... ya forgot thats ur permanent stage. So just give ur hand.
She sat beside him, picking his hand as the wait seemed to be very long and started putting ointment. Farhad was just looking in shock. He in his life never have seen his brother being handled like this.
"Raghav is the last person anyone would dare to come close, let alone dictating him what to do. Whats with this girl? She seriously don't have any fear for her life or what and Y bro is not saying anything. The last girl who approached him... she had to leave the campus. But he is not saying anything to her even when she is holding him. Is he alright?"
F - Anna.... R u fine?? Fever... cold or anything???
Both looked at him.
R - Yes.
Raghav teethed at him. A cold steely voice was heard.
"So he can talk."
F - R u sure bec...
P - So u can talk. Then y wouldn't u replied all that while I kept asking u? I asked u y u slapped that old man... no reply. I asked Y u didn't went to the doctor, again no reply. I asked why u didn't get the oint....
Raghav looked at her and she stopped as if words were taken away from her.
K - Because I m sure u didn't allowed him to talk. He can only reply once u finish right.
Krishna said while coming in.
K - Hi... Krishna here. Can I join u guys as di has already planned to make it a family get-together.
Farhad coughed and almost burped out the food listening to the statement. Raghav and Pallavi both looked at Krishna who was also giggling on the whole situation.
K - What??? U guys r to be engaged soon right? So its anyhow...
P - Krishna just shut up... I m never gonna be engaged to this Ghamandi Rao.
She said it and then she realised where she was. She turned towards Raghav.
"Still nothing. How can be those eyes so blank? Anyhow."
P - See Raghav... I don't want to marry u and I m sure u r also least interested in me. So lets talk to our parents and stop this. Its no use that we have to live with someone who we both clearly don't want to live with. And don't take it personally... Its not about u. I just don't want any commitment for me right now. So hope u understand.
"I hope he will get it. Its too straight forward but I didn't had time. He doesn't seem angry, so thats a good sign. But he doesn't look anything for that matter. Does he also didn't wanted it? Y it doesn't bother him? Y it seems nothing bothers him? "
Raghav turned his eyes towards food and start curling it for next bite.
P - What so u will cancel it right?
R - Yes.
He said still looking at his food.
"Yes... finally he agreed... yipee."
And in fit of things she hugged him.
P - Thank u... thank u... u don't know how much have u helped me. I was so tensed for past week. It was really a very big...
Realization of their sorrundings hit and she immediately backtracked. Krishna was shocked by his sister's behavior but Farhad was stunned with what was happening.
F - Anna... we need to get u to a doctor. Something is not right.
Pallavi and Krishna looked at him in query.
F - No.. see Pallavi... the way anna is...
Raghav dropped his spoon on his plate and the noise was enough to shut Farhad. Pallavi got it immediately.
P - What is this behavior? He is ur brother. He can say whate....
M - Hello Pallavi... Long time no see....
She knew that voice. Her words stopped mid-sentence. Her voice lost its existence. The sweat made home on her forehead and breath forgot its escape. She just came back to her worst nightmare.
“No… No Pallavi. Its alright. U can fight this. U can fight this.”
She gulped the choke in her throat somehow and uttered.
P - Man.. Mandhar...
