P - When r u going to apologize?
R - Y I need to?
P - For what u said?
R - How will that help?
P - It will show u want to repent for what wrong u have done.
R - I called u Gold digger and u felt bad and cried. Out of all this which act will be rectified by me saying sorry.
P - Yes about that. Y u said something u don't mean?
R - To make u understand exactly regarding what u r going to talk about next.
P - And what is that.
R - U talked to Farhad and u know everything. U r here to give me lecture on past is past and we should move on. Please go ahead.
P - How... how do u know that?
R - Same way u know I didn't meant what I said but it still hurt right? Actions once done have repercussions. U can say, repent, seek for redemption or can do hundred other things, nothing can change what is caused by ur action. Its on u and it will be on u till ur last breath.
P - If everyone start listening to ur philosophy and keep dwelling on past then nobody will ever move on in their life. Everyone make mistakes. Everyone has done some or the other wrong in their life, big or small but u can't keep lamenting on same. Its ok to feel guilty for ur actions and that should be the motivation for u to be a better person in future. But to stop living because of a mistake u made has no end in sight. Past is history, future is mystery but today is a gift, thats y its called present.
R - U r absolutely correct in what u r saying and believe. There is no use of dwelling on past. We should learn from it and try to not make the same mistake once made and believe it or not I m doing the same.
P - How by not moving on and keeping urself isolated. Thats what u call moving on?
R - No. That is what I call being there for my Dad and brother. On that day, two souls departed. But I saw two persons standing there who have lost their life but were being strong to stand for me. They were broken but collected their pieces because they knew they can't let me break and they r doing that till today. Every second, every minute my dad and brother live to keep me together. Farhad is younger to me still he has been there to always support his anna. So to answer u... yes I know I need to move on...everyone needs to move on. I need to live for the living but at the end of the day the truth remains. The soul has departed and no one can change this truth. U r a good person. U have the spark. U have life. U have light but sometimes u need to understand not everyone can be in light. Some have pushed themselves to the places where darkness is all they have to safeguard them because light only shines the cuts they have made. Not every life is same. Not every journey gets destination. Some wanderers need to keep going on their path.
P - So u will never pardon urself for ur past.
R - Somethings r not redeemable. My present is my truth and so is my past. Both parts make me whole and make me what I m.
There was a silence. A lot have been said in last few minutes. A lot more can be said but both knew that both were correct. The silence is the only language both feel can communicate their thoughts.
P - And what about us?
She asked.
R - There can be no us.
He replied.
Silence again took the space as both looked into each other’s eyes. Both had a slight smile. And then they turned to move down their paths which although connected for some time had diverged again. One to darkness. One to Light.
