In America women get 3 months off after having baby while in some countries like Holland woman can stay at home for 2 years with doctors visiting at home while still being at her job. I was surprised to see fathers taking off leave after baby born in America, if they are helping out by getting up early in the morning changing diapers and stuff good but otherwise they should not be taken off. Someone has to earn money in the family and it has be men. Women in Bollywood have the luxury of nanny so them getting back to work is good to be independent and they work only few days of the year. Once again Kareena is one actress from current generation who is doing that, older generation actresses did it. Normal working woman, I saw one nurse practitioner who has a stay home husband and I think it’s unfair for women since they cook, breastfeeding and etc. they get no sleep at night. If someone is going to be staying at home, it should be the mom.

Again, Kajol did it but she’s six yrs older, so not sure which gen. she belongs to...

Its not only about giving birth to a child. Women can work nicely after some days or month I guess...of giving birth to child. Do women stay home with their kids so that they can breastfeed only?

Taking care of the child includes a lot more than feeding right?

So fathers should stay at home too or atleast spend a little less time for work especially when they are successful, rich actors.If not all fathers but Atleast the rich ,big actors can surely stay at home for their small kids for a few months....no..?

Most of them do, don't they? SRK, Hrithik, and Aamir hardly even do 1 film a year. They get plenty of time at home with their kids.

Only Akshay and Ajay pump out film after film. The rest don't have kids.

Ikr many of them do and spend time with their kids...

But why is that not regarded as taking a break for their children amd family.

I am not saying that this happens always but most of the times it is regarded that actresses took break after marriage or after children....but its not the same for male actors...
