I see how you can think that, but I disagree with that, there’s another perspective to it as well. Adi never dealt with that forced marriage and used to get caught up in guilt throughout his wedding with mun. Even at the night before his marriage in his talk with his dad he said it wasn’t feeling right, ‘malini ki taraf har barhta kadam bhaari lag raha hai’. At some unconscious level he had accepted the marriage, I think his anger and hiding the truth is the evidence of it or else he could have told the truth gotten her settled somewhere else and moved on. But clearly he thought she made a difference by being in his life or not is why he got mad ‘malini ki jagah lene ki koshish kar rahi ho’ made it seem like he thinks she has the ability to do that. Biggest proof was when after imlie got assaulted by mun’s cousin in the wedding he got a reminder to her mom saying she’s giving her responsibility to him and was about to tell everyone imlie is my patni before she stopped him.

Despite these facts, this isn’t even about that. Imlie’s outburst is about being demeaned every other day and her relationship called an affair. She didn’t insult malini any way, just spoke against anu’s perception in a way that’ll get to her and is the truth too, and spoke about her haq.

Bold: Those are my exact feelings about another character.. but forget that, how has she wanted the world to fall at her feet? whatever she did she didn’t do infront of the world. Who knows about the sacrifices she made except aditya and rupi? And rupi found out herself. For wanting the world to worship her the world has to know. And the whole world will not worship her, she very well knows they’ll question her is why she is scared of the truth coming out. We know who has breakdowns infront of the world.. I can’t say more beyond this, I have said everything I have to say. I guess we’re just watching the show from completely different angles here..

There is no connection between standing up for your self and fabricating lies

She has all right to defend herself but here she is portraying to AC that her "sacrifice" is the reason Malini is married .... this is baseless

No one is stopping Imli to reply to AC but her claim is a blatant lie

And starving herself because her husband doesn’t tell her where he has gone is not ‘ultimate becharapana’ and manipulation to guilt someone into staying with you? And despite her being so upset with him treating her that way, accepting him even though he doesn’t give her answers is totally the right thing to do rather than filing for a divorce?

Though I don't support Adilie but thier marriage is legal in every way as it was done with all rituals. The only remedy they have/had was filing for annulment but until annulled, thier marriage is valid in every way.

Though Imlie didn't have Adi's support that time but still she could have revealed the truth that time and then Malini wouldn't/couldn't have married Adi unless an annulment was taken. Also, technically Malini's marriage is void and even today Imlie can snatch away all her rights as Adilie's marriage is still a valid and that makes Malini a second wife.

So yes, Imlie did allow Malini to become the bahurani

Yes because generally speaking wives divorce their husbands just for anything

A wife cannot ask her hubby where he is and cannot worry about his whereabouts. And the wife should just tolerate her hubby being gone for days without as much as telling where he is......these things are so normal in a marriage

But ofcourse a wife should just divorce her hubby without trying to save her marriage.......just make way for him to marry his lover
