You are right but do u think Malin or Anu will agree to this marriage even if they know it’s illegal as u claim. Iam talking about high society elite class women would prefer Adi after they know of forced marriage. And we all know that Anu was already finding reason as she did not like Adi. She would have atleast temporarily stopped it . Satyakam and sarpanch getting arrested is different. According to Anu, Adi will be considered second hand not fit for her daughter. Do you even think Malini and Anu will believe Adi if he says forced marriage? With Anu’s mindset and Dev experience neither will she believe or let Malini believe. Think about the chaos even if Adi rejected imlie.

Whether legal or illegal ,whether Adi accepts imlie or not the MARRIAGE would not have happened even if small rumor was spread. ANU will not let it happen.

If I remember correctly Aditya tried telling others about the fact he was married to Imli way before he was in love with Imli..on he's wedding preparations. It was Malini who infact played week and washed of as a joke....like how? If she knew Aditya like she claimed she did! The she would know he wouldn't make such a joke....and yes it's Imli that kept malini's rights to be kept and met more then the one that you say chose her as a patner. Need to say more? They would have gotten married even if Imli had said anything...clearly because she knew her marriage is not legal and Adi was already committed to Malini...he made it very very clear to Imli that he loves Malini and was getting married to her. Anything Imli would have done or said back then would have made no difference to the outcome. Adi was not willing to accept his marriage to Imli....at any cost

If at that time Imli had claimed any right over Adi....he would have thrown her right out of the window. He could have annulled this marriage and sent her packing to PD....he was committed to Malini. So no she never had any right on Adi like she claims

I still can’t understand to save my life that how is Adi who was in love with malini for so long is all of the sudden with out any problems does not love her anymore. I did check some old episodes and scenes to confirm that as well. Guy was in love by his actions, eyes, smile .... you name it. It’s a human nature to want something that is out of reach and you shouldn’t have. Adi’s guilt of mistreatment of imli got the best of him then he goes to PD and feels more for family which turn into confusion. It felt more like sindoor the weapon of emotional destruction. Man can not think straight.
his forced marriage wasn’t legal to start with. Malini is too giving and easygoing. As much as anu sounds like a bitch but if she was nice like malini than anu would have been divorced and mithi would have been mrs chaturvedi for crying out loud.
