Ahaan's reactions and the intensity surprised me. He is so used to being the eldest brother, taking charge and solving problems that in Ishqi's case the fact that she didn't even inform him really shocked and bothered him. The way he sternly asked her to go to the hospital was also a bit surprising for me. Kitne haq se bola.

The fact that she was dealing with it all on her own was a wake up call for Mr. MCP. That dialogue in the hospital was amazing, especially when he realized that Mayank is the wrong person for her, even if he's his best friend. She made him realize that not all women have a man to rely on so they need to independent. Besides, why do women have to wait for men to solve their problems? I am glad she's showing him through real-life examples why women need to be self-sufficient instead of preaching feminism. Very refreshing to watch. He grabbed her hand because he was angry but even he realized that he couldn't fault her logic.

I hope the maasa ji truth comes out soon, preferably before these two get married.

I loved the dig at mahaan FLs:

Situation ko akele handle karne ki capability hona, yeh achhi baat hai. Lekin har situation ko akele handle karne ki zidd rakhna na, yeh achhi baat nahin hai.

He's so right about that. Asking for help or moral support is not a weakness and has nothing to do with self-respect. Women are humans not machines.

He said "Ishqi main ek aur baar nai sununga, I swear uthake leke jaunga"

Yes, he does make the right and practical points in the argument many times. He is not totally blind MCP, given logical argument and pieces of evidence he can change his views like he changed his views about Ishqi. Initially, he thought she is not right person for Mayank as she works, but after knowing about her he did say that even if you work, you value family. when he will get to know entire truth about Ishqi's like, he will change the view that girls can handle things alone too.

. when he will get to know entire truth about Ishqi's like, he will change the view that girls can handle things alone too.

This is exactly the reason why they put that conversation..

However, if they get married too soon, they will have a lot of ideological conflicts to deal with. Which is fine, it's why I'm watching this show. 😆
