I don't blame Rishita - Page 3

I understand that she needs time to adjust and such. My problem with Rishita is that she isn't even trying. She's truly blind when it comes to Dev's family.

She's a grown up woman, married for goodness sake. How difficult is it to try to understand the family that is doing everything to accommodate her.

They are being nice to her, she's not making the effort, that's my issue with.

Adjustment toh sab ko karna padhta hai, doesn't mean ki manners hi nahi ho!!

Dev, is such a disappointing character!! He never speaks up when he should and I have to say I dislike Rishita's emotional blackmailing. She's clingy and absolutely suffocating.

Let's hope Dev sits her down and explains his family dynamic. They dated two years, and talked of marriage, shouldn't she know what his family means to him.

Agreed, Janardhan and family are horrible people. Was she so blind that she didn't register the treatment her mom got at the hands of her Bua and Dad?? I don't know what to call that!!

Rishita is from nuclear family, agreed, buy still from a family!! She sometimes behaves like she doesn't understand the basics of a family relationship too. Her life revolves around "getting better than others" rather being contend in the best she has . She doesn't like Dhara and the respect she commands on Dev or the family but isn't her Don Bua gets the same respect and importance in the family, from his father. If a sister can be a mother figure why not a sis in law?? I don't know what and why she doesn't understand this. Again, her objections and issues aren't downright wrong but her way of speaking definitely is, and on top of that Dev is so useless. Gaura had been married for a decade now, and Dev himself was in a relation for 2 years, still in the initial episode after leap he barged in Gaura's room when Gaumbi was helping her with saree. He doesn't understand the concept of "privacy" when he himself is committed, then how will Krish understand the concept? Gaura never rebuked him though he had been doing it for years, but Krish got the scolding. More than Rishita it's Dev who irks me. He needs to take a stand for his family, and make Rishita understand the dynamics.

This is a very valid point. Really makes me dislike her more

I think the main issue we have from Rishita is her lack of empathy for other's feelings.

I get that she is a self centered brat from a dysfunctional family and also some of her expectations aren't unreasonable per say.

But the thing is she wants everything to be about her while being completely inconsiderate of other's feelings.

And while we understand why is she the way she is, the idiot she calls her husband needs to step up and perhaps ask her to tone down just a tad.
