In 2007, the terms superhit and Akshay Kumar proved to be synonymous. But the flying colors don't end there. The Blockbuster star is back and ready to kick into action with another assured victory in Tashan. After a genre of chivalrous and comedic roles, Kumar returns as the action hero he was once known for.

Kumar takes on the role of Bachchan Pandey, a desi wannabe gangster with his own tashan (style). Pandey, along with his partners, take on a fierce road trip across India that is set to blast Bollywood like we've never seen before. The film captures state-of-the-art special effects along with engaging action sequences performed by Kumar himself.

It celebrates a return to the action genre for me and has given me the opportunity to showcase my physical and technical skills which, for me, are my art" Kumar says.
