I believe he did. He mentioned some problems he has been having lately and then he said his mom wasn’t well for a few months. I saw a video on social media

I don’t know if judges convinced him to stay or not .

I saw that he had posted Insta stories asking for votes very recently. The Jaya Prada episode was shot last week. If he announced that he wanted to leave, then why would he ask for votes?

They should let him go if he openly said that on the show. I mean one should say such things only if they truly mean it and not to gain sympathy.

If this really turns out to be a TRP stunt, I feel it will cost big for channel and Sawai both. They can't play with audience emotions. If its really genuine then hope someone support him.

So Sawai is in show. Everything is normal promo is just a stunt. Looks like Himesh recorded songs with many contestants already but surprisingly not even one female singer. Any way happy for Pawandeep, Danish,Nihal and Sawai. It's good for them. Hope someone offers for female singers as well.

Nothing ever happens with these recorded songs. Except for Ranu Mondol, that is! And has anyone ever heard of Ranu Mondal ever again? Neither will they do so in future.

I feel this is a win win situation for him. Even if he does quit the show, he is likely to get fame because of it

He could later make a comeback through social media as he already has a fan following

Sawai neither was sure to become absent nor he had to go because simultaneously Sawai was appealing for votes.
