At least he's aware there are people who can't simply *STAY HOME* like some are screaming.

What this pandemic has exposed to me is the utter callousness of the middle class the world over. The Zoomers refuse to see the plight of others as long as they're getting paid. And their maids come regularly to clean. And their kids attend Zoom class. And Uber Eats delivers. So does the grocery store. And Netflix/Amazon Prime stay on. Then they comment virtuously on the unwashed masses who don't have these options.

Oh yeah, the rich have to donate to charity to take care of the poor. It's always *they* who have to pay, not us, the middle-income people. Apparently, we don't realize or refuse to realize the middle class is the chunk of the tax base. Why not offer to pay 10-15% more in taxes so the working classes can stay home. Let's see how many takers there are for it.

Or we could all realize it's the elderly and the chronically ill who are most at risk and quarantine them. But no. That means we the regular people will need to go to work. We can't actually demand only the poor do that, can we? Even if that is what is happening in effect. So even while we continue to exploit them, we scream for lockdowns. Because if the working classes actually locked down, the rest of us would be in soup.

Last year they did by contributing generously to the PM care fun, which went unaudited.

Hopefully they learned their lessons this time contribute towards genuine organizations who are working with the people at the grass root level.
