A break from the suffocation?

Another very exhausting epi to watch with almost all screen time devoted to endless ghatiyapanti from Didi.

I don't get how one person can have the capacity to continue one fight for such a long time...she was just non stop spewing venom without lihaaz of anyone. Before even one word would come out of Adi's mouth, she would jump 10 steps ahead claiming he is "insulting" her and her professional capabilities (hain? 😆....is she saying this cuz Adi praised Imlie for her exam results?😆) and god knows kya kya....claiming he is insulting her for "random girl", "baahar waali".....just some of the labels she used for Imlie today.....along with ofcourse again deriding her as "Naukraani' just like her Mommy dearest always does.

Finally we got the dusri Mrs. C dialogue today....heck, not just once, but Adi told Malini multiple times she is totally behaving like her mom....but none of it put even a little brake on Malini's bakwaas....she seemed to have endless capacity for it today....not even doing token lihaaz of Badke Kaka trying to coax Imlie to eat, wahaan bhi Didi ko ghuss kar apni bakwaas karni thi pehle and sindoor dabbi dene ka naatak karna tha suddenly.

Malini insulted and humiliated Imlie and Adi over and over again today....she snapped at her in-laws multiple times....yet everyone still kept watching her like she's some Queen that they are mute in front of 😕. Adi ko chhod kar kisi ne takkar ka jawaab nahin diya to a woman who was openly creating a scene in their house. Waah bhai, agar ek title mile zindagi mein toh Tripathis ke ghar ki bahu bano.....that gives you a free pass to let go of basic humanity also and no one says anything to you. Malini has lost even the basic humanity of feeling a little prick of conscience seeing Imlie literally begging for maafi, begging her and Adi to stop fighting....it didn't move Malini an inch....instead she berated Imlie for trying to become a murga as part of her apology...uske upar bhi she shouted at Imlie that I don't find all this cute now and your emotional drama won't work on me😕.

Malini looked ready to end everything in that moment and Adi seemed quite amenable to it too....sabke saamne tamasha karke lad liya toh waise bhi aur kya bachaa tha.....but the way Malini was watching him didn't have any hurt in it today, she looked ready for vengeance.....so again, for the 100th time, why keep this facade of a relationship going? Kiske ego ko behelaana hai ab jab itne tamaashe kar liye?

Imlie ko aaj literally pees diya sabke beech mein....the girl seemed to be in physical pain watching all these fights and I thought she might just pass out from the trauma at one point. Anyways, the few standout moments from Adi were when he told Malini ki a person doing as much ghatiya talk as her doesn't deserve to be spoken to....then he told her again that he literally feels like he's talking to Mrs. C right now....then the moment when he briefly stopped arguing with Malini when he saw Imlie in pain behind her with her hands over her ears.....this refusal to go behind Malini when his mom ordered ki Malini ko jaao manaao.....and then the best moment in my opinion....the way he declared ki uska dum GHUT-TA hai in that room....that he literally feels SUFFOCATED in his own room and doesn't want to go there.....visceral moment.

It was feeling like there was no end in sight to the suffocation for us as viewers too of being subjected to this horrible bakwaas from Didi daily but then finally subah hui....Adi ne ab couch pakad liya hai....seems doubtful he will share a room with Malini again anytime soon.

Nice brief Adi-Imlie scene in the morning as he goes to do his Good Morning to her and in a calmer state tells her again he's decided to tell Malini everything now.....he also admitted he was wrong to drag her over to the house from the hostel....lol while simultaneously telling her ki yahaan se bhaagne ka sochna mat....lol so make what you will of that.

Finally, as expected, truth toh nahin out hua, Didi herself decided she wants a break....and Adi obviously agreed readily.....lol.....will we really be blessed with a break from her for a while? I find it hard to believe we can be so lucky.....lol but dekhte hain....hopefully Adi atleast can breathe in his own room again.

Precap mein Adi is asking his mom for the first time ki pehle kabhi kyun nahin puchha what I'm feeling.....long overdue point from him I guess....but overall looks like another attempt from him to tell the truth to his family, which Imlie will block again.....lol

Lovely WU AY, was waiting for you to begin the thread. 😃 Gonna have epic discussions today.

It was an epic episode on many levels.

First up the calm Adi talking to Imlie in the morning, explaining how he is unable to nibhao his rishta with Malini. He has come to a decision, the one who does not loathe himself, unable to speak the truth, that is his core and unable to live a life lying. He wants to be himself, true to himself, that defines him. Some intense scenes from GM here today. 👏

Malini was in full form and enacting a drama of insulting Imlie, to force the truth from Adi. I think this is all part of Anu's master plan, who has devised this method to arrive at the truth unlike her, who has spent 19 years trying to get the truth from Dev, who has behaved in a cowardly manner. Finally she called Imlie a naukrani, not even batting an eyelid. she knew what she was doing here.

Adi calling Malini Mrs C thrice and bringing forth the full extent of their discord in front of his parents and BK, Nishu, leaving them in shock.

The way Adilie communicated in the sindoor scene, he saw Imlie hurt and crying and understood what had happened, without her uttering a word. The way he was forced to go after Malini by Aparna. I think it is easier for Aparna to tell her son Adi to manao her bahu rather than the other way around, which we saw later, when Malini lashed out at her as well, as to why she should be the one to apologize all the time to Adi. I think there is plenty of reserve from the T's towards Malini probably due to her penchant for OTT drama and the fact she subtly lords her status over them, albeit with a sweet smile. I think Aparna and Pankaj are discovering these shades to Malini now.

Nishu's brain finally working to connect the dots. The stage is set for his discovery next.

The man is feeling suffocated with Malini and said it out loud and Imlie feeling shocked, in a daze over the spiraling events, looked ready to crash. It was her reaction to Malini's words and Adi that stopped him in his tracks. He was ready to END it all right this minute and cannot pretend any more.

As for the precap - Aparna should have done this long ago, tried to talk to her son, understand his pov.. well we have Imlie trying to put a brake in the confession, as 2 families would be destroyed. Guess she does not want to carry the guilt/burden of causing unhappiness to 2 families.

ST in the morning was looking so wan, poor thing.. the makeup was really good here. As for didi, bags are packed to back to mamma, for more lessons and tips... 😡 on how to manipulate and make the T's more unhappy.

Also she did was literally keep twisting the matters with not ittu sa sharam ittu sa respect for her husband or sasuralis heck this wasn't even a fight with adi that she made it to be .. adi was initially being polite only ke bas end it with his glad I got to hear all the shit I never could in 7 yrs and she went you insulting me uhhh excuse me.. what was she saying over and over random ladki ke liye you misbehaving then in room I am badi behan so mujhe haq hai and how a Mafi fixes things and caz you did it I am doing it and then later you are crap and this girl isn't cute and haqs and oata nahi kya kya in no sequence.. there is just too kuch to process and to comment on but mostly am done

I was just sooooo Glad ke adi was not having an ounce of hamdardi and was more than glad to shut her in her way only.. my fav few dialogues have to be him saying tameez nahi hoti toh haq bhi nahi milte and that even in his anger and he gets angry a lot he never leaves the line and becomes this ghatiya.. and his absolute resolve and sureness in his tone ke bas end it now and he is never going back to the room caz he feels the ghuaatan absolute NO.. and finally telling his family a few times today to let him be caz this time.he won't listen as he is not wrong and they always make him say sorry which boosts her confidence and aaj woh sab isi ka natija bhukat rahe hain

I absolutely loved adi's sure I will be tagged wrong but frankly Idc caz what I want is liberty the freedom from the lie and my conscious will be clear that is more than enough and asking Imlie to come with him so he can draw strength from her..

Didi ke drama never ended haan what staged performance she was doing next morning main soyi nahi the calculated delivery of the dialogue with emotional BM added and expecting adi wahin paoon pakkad le and then the disappointment when he said yeah best hai leave me alone..

Also I wanted to do was hold the poornimlie in my arms why is she so pure man why.. none of them have the courtesy to even hug her.. the girl needed that so bad which is why it was such a heartbreaking visual to see her sleep holding her SM exhausted sick her eyes all swollen her voice all hoarse. All she wanted was comfort someone just holding her.. adi bhi sofa pakkad lia but she probably went to give him her blanket at some point. Oh man this girl and phir bhi nobody even consoles her..

My heart went out to her with her she will never take advantage of the ehsaans of love what a parallel to didi who is exactly doing that.. taking advantage and undue advantage of everyone respecting her but ab kaise koi kar sakta hai iski respect.

I am so glad adi is questioning his parents too now.. all in all I am happy happy adi ke reactions today and he's the guy will ankhein band karke sign the divorce and not feel kuch bhi caz his limit is pushed to that..

Again kaise yeh feel na kare imlie se more and more connect that iss sab main bhi she is trying to sort them.. her cry for help her scream ke bas karo...I felt serious pain and yes I also felt ke behosh ho jaayegi yeh due to itna trauma of the day but yet again nerves of steel this girl has.. the way she was rocking herself alone in the room crying mann my heart ripped .. SM plz plz isss bachi pe rehab kari iske dard ki data Karo...if anything she needs a lot of heeling and consoling..

Will the makers ever stop making this uncomfortable now? I’m exhausted and feel like those fights are transpiring in the adjacent room now.

Dev probably has the worst gene pool ever. His karma has not only harmed Mithi, Imlie is going through the grind in absolutely the worst way possible.

And all this for what? Because Malini only wants to hear her version of the truth? The version that does not exist? The version that is not the truth anymore? She knows. She knows the truth innately but she is such a freaking coward that she has to drag everyone down to the gutters because she has not an iota of tenacity within her. She is loathsome. Her behavior today was objectionable to say the least.

The haq that Aditya gave Malini in an impulsive act is coming back to bite him. His family is being castigated out in the open and he can do jack about it. Because Imlie will never let him.

Aditya says a lot when he is angry or emotional. Today he said his biggest truth wrt to Malini - he is suffocating in that room, in that relationship. If his family and Imlie push him towards Malini anymore than they should at this point, they will be directly responsible for his pain going forward.

That precap is not going to end in anything being revealed. Imlie is at that threshold for a reason.

Imlie’s request for bheek was beneath her. Beneath any human being in the right. Her shame is pushing her to beg forgiveness from a woman who called her random baharwaali naukraani without flinching a bit. In front of everyone.

The entire episode however was about Imlie’s breakdown which was gut wrenching to say the least. No one should be used as a punching bag like she is being used by Aditya and Malini right now. The Ts still came to comfort the only person they have a deep relationship with and that shows everything anyone needs to know about them. Yes, they defended Malini’s actions but it was very half-hearted.

Nishant finally connected the incidents to the talk he had previously with Aditya before being interrupted by Imlie. He will talk to either Aditya or Imlie and will get to know the truth. It is about time.

A few bits that I am trying to remember as I recover from the draining feeling of watching Didi ka intolerable bakwaas:

1) The symbolism of Malini throwing that sindoor and Imlie immediately rushing to sameto it.....Imlie will always be the one who tries to keep things together while Malini callously tries to tear down things

2) Imlie sleeping with the Sita Maiyya ki murti clutched in her hands all night.....sigh

3) Notably, despite all the begging for maafi that she did in front of Didi, Imlie never once said ki achha if you want, main sindoor nahin lagaaungi😆

4) Adi was notably reluctant to go after Malini both times....the first time, his feet were literally rooted to the spot and he kept staring at Imlie's crying face even as his Mom kept asking him to go after Malini....finally he only budged with great reluctance but his expression again said he'd rather do anything but that.....the second time, his mom also couldn't make him go and he just stated his suffocation explicitly, refusing to spend another night in a room with Malini.

5) Malini tried to twist the argument many times but Adi wasn't having it....he kept trying to bring it back to the main point that the issue is not about what Imlie did but how Malini is speaking.....only he has the capacity to cut through her bullshit if others would let him.....left to themselves, Adi-Malini can easily end it in 5 minutes....Adi has no patience for her faltu games anymore and she is deluded to think her abusive tantrums will gain her any sympathy.

6) Nishant is on the track to learning the truth soon most likely

7) I really REALLY hope this break stretches out for a bit and it's not Didi ka faltu two days ka drama and back to expectations ki Adi use ghar laakar sab theek kar dega.....let the break stretch out and let the family see how happy Adi actually is when she ISN'T there.

This thread is going to be one big rant in multiple posts so sorry about it pehle se hi.

Malini is so deplorable in her quest for blood that she laid the blame for single action of hers at Aditya’s door. He changed so she changed. He denigrated Imlie so she denigrated Imlie. He lost love so she is going to go home.

What an unbearably wretched example of a human being.

Loathsome is the word for her indeed....I've seen many cliched vamps on TV but Malini's capacity for dragging things through the gutter and acting like she's some Saint is another level of pathetic. She did indeed literally drag them all through the gutter with herself today and didn't give a damn about anyone....the sense of entitlement, arrogance, selfishness, viciousness....it's all on another level with her now. I'm beyond done with her twisted nonsense...she is incapable of accepting any truth. All she will do is keep justifying her misbehavior....even in the last scene she was claiming that Adi "made" her behave like this.

Thank God Adi stated his truth that he is suffocating....hope that atleast gives his family pause that they can't force him and Malini together atleast for a bit.....give him breathing room.....and hopefully that will give them all time for a reality check about how that woman sucks the life out of their family.

I don't get Malini's game though....it was obvious that Adi wasn't going to stop her from leaving....then she even seemed to admit to herself this proves he doesn't love her anymore....so then why still drag this? Cuz "option nahin hai"?

Precap is good. Adi's family never pay attention to his feeling. If they had noticed how he was acting disturbed after coming from Pagdandiya, these things would never happen at all.

A lot to process today.. I will leave it up to you expert writers for the analysis 😆. I will believe Malini leaves the house when it happens tomorrow.. Because I am sure Imilie will try to stop her. Just a gut feeling this is not over - more drama to come tomorrow. Even if Malini leaves, imlie will bring her back Just want Nishanyh to know the truth already- he will support Adi and his cool dude because he seems like a practical guy.
