The thing that irks me most - is Sai's unapologetic behavior & constant rude behavior. In most families, whether you're right or wrong - if you talk rudely to elders, you will get a nice thappad.
Just because she asked for forgiveness in her mind, does that mean the opposite person knows it unlike our crocodile tears Virat, he at least apologizes for his blunders. Don't play it as a maturity card, I'm now sick of listening to this - each & every character is playing maturity card like there's no tomorrow.
If Sai really wanted to help Devi, the simplest thing she could've done is - contact a Mahila morcha & convey to them, at least they will make ruckus & could even gather media attention.
By calling on neighbors, she has only brought abuse to herself & Chavans. She will be looked up on in pity, not in respect.
Its a gossip time for the neighbors, no neighbor would dare to enter a Police Officer's house - to even question a wrong, forget about standing up - even in the villages, so forget about towns/cities. No one wants to get into the bad books of Police officers, they don't want their lives to be turned upside down.
Sai is unintentionally possessive of Virat (not as much as Pakhi), her constant Virakhi rants are a result of that - whenever Virat doesn't support her. May be that's a reverse psychology, that if she keeps taunting them - Virat will dump Pakhi as a whole & accept Sai fully = which he did but as its a jalebi, she doesn't understand it.
As the forum majority is females, its nothing new that - people are more biased towards female characters & tend to understand them better compared to males, lets not sugarcoat this basic fact. I as a male am surprised quite a few times how all of males are put under a same basket where as it doesn't apply to the girls.
I've openly bashed Virat & Pakhi, I take no bias when it comes to bashing 😎
