In some shows, stories I have seen that he slept with her. In others he just touched her.

Different stories have different versions. Some people wrote he slept with her, some wrote he only touched her. In this serial they showed he hugged her. Even if he touched her or slept with her, she allowed him to do that thinking that he is her husband na. So how did her love for her husband become impure if she was being cheated by someone? Sometimes I wonder if this story was even true or fictional.

Anyways, I wanted to see Krishna-Tulsi track without Radha jealousy scenes lol. We have got so much overdose of Radha Krishna scenes that I am dying to see Krishna with someone else for few episodes lol

@bold it’s the same logic through which Ahalya was cursed by Sage Gautam when Indra came to her in disguised as Sage Gautam.

But

That case is a bit different.

1) In Valmiki Ramayana Ahalya willingly slept with Indra.

2) In other versions Indra took the form of Gautama.

But then too Gautama cursed Ahalya in rage. Rage doesn't always follow reason.

But in Tulsi's case her power of Pativratya weakens. The logic is confusing.

That's what confuses me too. Whether Tulsi let Krishna/Vishnu touch her or slept with him, she allowed him to do so because he was in the form of her husband. She thought she was spending time with her husband so how does that weaken her pativrataya? That's why I wonder if this story was even true.

No one's life depends on a spouse's fidelity in a biological sense.

Consider it a metaphor.

Vishnu went to her in the form of her husband = seduced her, not raped. Could have been rape also, but it wouldn't accomplish the next step if it were rape.

She became unfaithful = she betrayed her husband in a material way, perhaps leaked plans. This is why I think it was seduction. She would have no reason to leak plans to an assaulter.

Husband died = clear enough.

She figured out she was seduced for this purpose = she either curses Vishnu out of anger or has him thrown in stone dungeon

Sometimes, these stories are like SRK in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Put on a moustache, and wife/girlfriend cannot recognize you!

Unless we're talking about identical twins, no way a wife doesn't recognize an impostor enough to sleep with him.

Actually, even with identical twins, there would be differences in bedroom behavior which the lady would pick up on.

Exactly!! I feel this plot so lame in shows man!! I mean a wife knows her husband the best possible way, should rather - mentally and physically, the later as such atleast, So if anyone who disguises as HIM, wont she be able to tell the difference after few moments??? Even if i consider initially that bec face is similar and blah blah, u dont, but after he touches wont your mind start telling you this is not the same touch????

Ok I asked my mom about Tulsi story and she said it was Vishnu who went to Tulsi and not Krishna. Tulsi was in Satya yuga and Krishna was in Dwapar yuga so it's not possible for Krishna to even meet Tulsi. Tulsi is Vishnu's wife and not Krishna's.
