That means there's a greater chance that Alia simply gave up her wealth (possibly to her father) to perhaps begin life afresh (a bit like Sarangdhar who wanted to be free of his father)

That angle is possible but it makes Agastya lead a poor life for no fault of his, which I don't think Alia would ever do.

Knowing the makers, it might be some hare-brained reason rather than a solid, logical one though 🤪

Because Nandini was the one who invested money on DDS since beginning (Alia didn't know).

Also there was some big decision regarding this she took (Param told her its risky) I forgot🤔

That may caused this drop in financial staus!
