Lol for Kpop thing I actually do not want to understand anything related to them... I can pick himesh reshamiya over those Kpop thing in either way... Because atleast I can understand when himesh says ek bar aja aja aja aja aja ajaaja... Jhalak dekhlaja lol...
Regarding English musix it still make sense people in the subcontinent are familiar with English songs or Hollywood, infact someone who watch Hollywood is considered as something elite it does have the market and the takers in subcontinent... But I have no clue regarding why Kpop is a phenomena in a non native place... Being a pakistani sonu fan I don't even listen to his kannada or tamil or what ever the regional Indian language songs because what's the point of listening to something which is not understandable.... It doesn't make sense

I understand. Kpop is a thing everywhere because not everyone limits themselves to a small box. Their view is not narrow and neither is their taste. So they watch foreign movies and foreign shows. Listen to foreign music, eat foreign food. Mingle with people who might not look like them. The point is to enjoy the best things every culture has to provide, expand their understanding of the world. It has nothing to do with trying to be an elite wannabe. The more you expose yourself to, the more you know. You should try it.

You know there is something called translations and people can look it up right ? Just like subtitles for movies . Even Tamil songs have subtitles in music videos these days and non-Tamil speakers can use that to understand the song. Not everyone has to listen to the music the same way you do .
