Dear God. Some of the comments!

Liking for a genre in music needs to be limited by regional bigotry and skin color?

Regarding English musix it still make sense people in the subcontinent are familiar with English songs or Hollywood, infact someone who watch Hollywood is considered as something elite it does have the market and the takers in subcontinent... But I have no clue regarding why Kpop is a phenomena in a non native place... Being a pakistani sonu fan I don't even listen to his kannada or tamil or what ever the regional Indian language songs because what's the point of listening to something which is not understandable.... It doesn't make sense

You’re not much of a music expert if you only listen and appreciate songs that you understand the meaning of. Regardless of the lyrics, some songs connect with you. It may be the quality of the voice, the tone of the singing, the beat of the music. You can find a connection to just about anything. Music is not limited to lyrics alone. Since you’re such a massive fan of HR, You may like the “sound” of Himesh Reshamiya’s Tandoori Nights, even though the lyrics is the lamest shit.

Look at this music. The Armenian Duduk. You may have no association to the culture but MUSIC is relative to all of us. I feel connected and relaxed hearing this regardless of not being Armenian.

Lara Fabian. My God - what a voice! I don’t need to know a lick of French or Italian to recognise a voice that turns my skin into goosebumps. I can listen to her sing all day
