Multiple leads

The story of multiple leads doesn't work well for tv shows. Maximum 2 couples mostly did. Since it's 1 hour show, the parallel tracks of supporting cast needs to be shown as well.

No, but they did remove them from montage and promo + significantly reduced their SS, like you had already pointed out from start, that it is tough for PHs to handle many stories, they end up choosing one over another at some point.

Ishqbaaz had kinda same scenario. That's why the second ML got the spin off show. Later they merged together again.

More than the creators the blame should be given to the audience. They need to be more flexible tbh
