I think the "changing someone" is more organic in a long-term relationship. You change because for a relationship to work, you learn to compromise and not be selfish at all times. That naturally causes changes in you and the other person.

I think the "passion" shown in shows/movies is fleeting. We never see what happens after the happily ever after. Respect and care can sustain a relationship healthily for a longer period of time!!

I definitely think this! I actually feel like they've been laying the groundwork for his issue for a while. As was pointed out, during the scene after he rescues her from the gunde, Shaurya is worried about what people will think if they see the two of them together. His insecurity is coming out there without him realizing it. Which is why he also asks her to stop calling him sir in that moment. Later when he is blasting her he emphasizes that the ACP is young, indicating yet again that he has noticed the age difference between him and Anokhi. When Badi Ma was telling him to make sure he doesn't do anything that his conscience won't allow, I think that was her planting a seed of doubt in his head about this student/professor relationship. Anokhi also tells Reema to be quiet because she doesn't want rumors flying around about Shaurya liking her. And her reaction both times she said PS in front of others (Alok and then other students) indicates that they both know that blurring the professional/personal line is something that might be seen as taboo. So I do think that Shaurya will have to grapple with this and unfortunately Shagun has come back at just the time that he is in denial of his feelings.

Thank you shaadi is delayed because of covid as most of our friends and relatives are abroad. Me too my whole path to dating is through friend route.
