So this might be a hot take but I think ITV does romance better than American/Brit shows because they are forced to be creative given the restrictions they have on PDA. So ITV does a better job building passion and intensity as a result and you can feel the sexual tension in the scenes which keeps us glued to the screens. It's just a matter of whether the OTTness of the supporting cast can be tolerated or not lol and in SAAKK I think they aren't too OTT.
