Which of these 2 characters can you relate with more?
I find both these characters immensely relatable and representation of the modern-day Indian woman. Spunky, individualistic, yet blending traditional and modern values. They follow their hearts, showcase raw emotions, are not perfect, but own their flaws with grace and aplomb.
Which of these 2 characters do you find more relatable?

I liked both, I identify with both at times but overall, I am more like Bitti, even though she's from a small town and I'm not, but our sensibilities match.
This song from Bareilly Ki barfi is very nice.
My Bengali heart relates to Piku. Bitti was cool too but I have nothing in common with her. I don't smoke, I don't rebel for the sake of rebelling. I really get Piku though, the whole frustrating but loving relationship with parent, being traditional yet breaking the traditional rules.

Pike was a bit high strung. Bitti seemed chilled out more
Whose presentation did I like more? Bitti - filmmaker didn't characterize her personality traits as flaws. She was what she was without apology. She was also welcomed for exactly who she was by her love interest. No changing into mellow, sari-wearing woman.
Who did I relate to more? Piku. I have several elders in the family who could give lessons to Piku's daddy.😆

I agree about Piku, but I love Bitti precisely because of the fact that she was not like other girls. Trying to break out of the mould, doing her own thing...it was all very organic, and I don't think she was trying to be a rebel, it was just something that came naturally to her. Also, I loved the fact that she followed her own heart and took matters of the heart in her own hands. She's exactly like me, so maybe I'm seeing the character through rose-tinted glasses.

Yeah exactly. Something so endearing about a woman who follows her own heart without feeling guilty for it.

Let me guess. You are moody, career-oriented, love ur family, and sometimes trying to balance between all these things leaves you embittered?
